"To die for" snack/food that is unique to each park?

There isn't much in MGM that is too appealing

In Magic Kingdom, we love the ice cream sandwiches from main Street Bakery. They are made with chocolate chip cookies from the bakery and are huge! We get them just before watching the parade and our family of four shares two.

In Animal Kingdom we love the chocolate covered bananas.

Frozen lemonade is also a favourite!

We used to get those ice cream sandwiches at POR. The kids would pick a flavor ice cream and two bakery cookies. What a treat! I will try the MK bakery, but does anyone else know if POR still makes them?

While I don't know that they are "to die for," we always make sure to go to Epcot and in France buy a Napoleon. I wish that we were going to make it this time, but it's not in the plans. I guess I will have to settle for a custom apple at Goofy's Candy Company.

What's a Napoleon?? After reading this thread I'm ditching my ADRs....I'm going to SNACK my way through the World!

I always make a point to get a churro at the cantina in Mexico, Epcot. The other thing I definately recommend, while not in a park, is a beignet at PQFQ. These are definately "to die for.":cheer2:

LOL... I don't think they're called "Napoleons" in France (real country, not Epcot). In Canada, "Napoleon" is want you say in the English provinces. In French, it's mille-feuilles. Traditionally, it is made with real cream. But, I think Disney does it the Anglo way with custard.

I was born in Quebec, and have been spoilt by real french bakeries. I was really disappointed by the French bakery at Epcot. Even my DDs were not impressed with the croissants. I found the bakery over-priced for refrigerated cookie-cutter snacks. Sorry just my opinion :duck:

I was also not impressed that "Canada" sold souvenirs that were made in the USA... but :confused3 that's another thread for another day...

My DW can't go a whole WDW trip without getting a strawberry swirl from the Enchanted Grove at the Magic Kingdom. I'm not the biggest fan of strawberry anything, but I have to admit it's pretty good. :goodvibes

The dole whip is soft serve ice cream in pinapple, chocolate, or vanilla. You can also get them as a float. The Figaro fries are fabulous they are fries topped w/ cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing. I like them w/out the lettuce and tomato and I get the salad.

MK: corn dog nuggets from Casey's, ice cream sandwich from Sleepy Hollow, Dole Whip float

MGM: hot jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel and raspberry white chocolate macadamia nut cookie

AK: frozen banana or fresh pineapple from the fruit stand

Epcot: anything from La Kringla Bakeri in Norway, chocolate covered caramel cashew cluster, German Chocolate cookie, or apple strudel from Germany, kaki gori from Japan, and anything from the bakery in France

DTD: Doh Bar (fried Snickers) from Cookes of Dublin

Resorts: zebra domes from Mara at AKL, beignets at POFQ, No way Jose sundae or Kitchen Sink from Beaches & Cream at Beach Club

Berry tarts from Kringla in Norway (licking lips - 35 days to go and counting)

Shakes from Pinnochio House in MK (they come in plastic keepsake cups - we have a matching set of 12 :rotfl2: )

Frozen bananas - anywhere, anytime

and last but not least: POPCORN

That about covers it: fruit, calcium and fiber.

MK: Dole Whip Float
Epcot: School Bread in Norway, Margarita stand at Mexico!!!
FW Campground: Frozen Banana by the campfire. Best memories of me and my grandfather there!
