I'm planning on taking my crocs, but i wanted to find out what everyone's experience with them was.

I am very comfortable wearing them around,,,I wear mine daily w/sox,,,northeast philly area warm winter....

thanks for comments

erm...welcome to the Dis...the community that I'd heard actually built a shrine to crocs somewhere IN Disenyworld AND single handedly sent the demand for crocs into the stratosphere AND even managed to turn Crocs into Mickey head laden monuments to the mouse himself!

I'm pretty sure you'll find that many will support your decision to croc!:cool1:

I wore mine on my most recent trip and I had no problems. They were so comfy. No blisters - I could not have asked for anything more.
DH wore his for a few days then switched to his tennis shoes and got blisters then.

LIVED in mine here in the So Cal desert last summer, but was leary of wearing them to Disneyland all day, but it was hot so I took an extra pair of shoes in case. I never need them. My crocs were so comfy and cool. And when everyone else was ringing their socks out from Grizzly Rapids, I simply shook my feet and walked on!! I am taking my pair and will swap out for Mickey ones once at WDW and my DD9 can't wait to get her a mickey pair too!!!!
happy Walking!!!

If it is a bit cool I wear mine with my coolmax socks and it is heaven

What is special about the Mickey pairs? are they the ones with the mouse ears as holes? How much do they run in the parks?? I have a pair and am sooo excited to wear them to the parks! Do I need a mickey pair?!

I have the ones with the mickey heads for holes. You can order them online before you go:)

Thank you for your posts,,,I will show these to my wife to let her know.

Can you buy the Mickey crocs in WDW? and are they pricier than the $30 I currently pay for crocs?

I am currently living in my crocs once I get home and the tie comes off. I'm being made fun of,,,but I don't care,,,I'm about comfort, and CROCS ROCK! when it comes to comfort...

thanks eveyone

9 days to go :cool1:

I wanna know too! are they available at DTD at WDW? can't find them at disneyshopping.com.

Disney Crocs were all over Pop Century last week. Only problem is that they only had the Blue/Green kid's style left. They had gotten a shipment in right before Christmas and they flew off the shelves. We saw them EVERYWHERE in the parks.

I wore a pair of the Mary Jane style ones with moisture wicking socks and I was blister free! The only day that I felt at all uncomfortable was the day I had to take my socks off because they were soaked from the rain. I didn't like the way my foot felt against the inside of the crocs with no socks, but that is just me. I definitely recommend them :)

I sent my 13 yo neice to WDw with a pair of pink/pearl disney crocs and everyono in all the parks kept asking her where she got them. The only colors WDW had left were the black/red strip. I immediately got on the internet and checked with crocs and nofeargear but both of them were out of the pink ones. I back ordered the pink ones for myself and they are supposed to be shipped on 1/20 from nofeargear. We leave for WDW on 1/30 so I hope they get here in time.
I can tell you that the crocs saved my feet last year when we spent 11 days there. go for the crocs.

I love my crocs, when I was working I wore them all the time. 9 hours walking around a large store with a cement floor my feet were always great. I brought my older pair of crocs to WDW last year and I was great everywhere except in Epcot. But I have always found no matter what shoe I have worn in Epcot my feet are tired by the end of the day..

I once heard a comic talk about Epcot, He called it the Epcot death march, I guess he didnt have comfortable shoes either. I also heard somewhere someone call it, Epcot, Every person comes out tired. :rotfl: I love Epcot, I wish it loved my feet.

I just bought my two kids Disney Crocs available in all different colors at Dick's Sporting Goods online - they are $30 a pair and if you're a first time user of Google Checkout, you get an additional $10 off your first order - best buy I found!

Quick question about crocs. I've been toying with the idea of finally giving into the croc cult and buying a pair. I tried on some at nordstrom yesterday and am curious, do you find that they run small, large, etc? I'm not exactly sure how they are supposed to fit to fit properly.

I am new to Crocs too and am thinking about getting a pair for our upcoming trip, but have 2 questions:

Can you wear socks?
I don't think I would like to wear them without a thin pair of socks, but wouldn't this look horrible????

Are the "generic" Crocs as good as the real ones?
Like the Target brand? I hate to spend $$ for the real ones when I have never worn them before, but I don't want to just throw money away on cheapies either.

Thanks for your help!!!

FIrst of all--no generic aren't the same as the real brand. The generics just
aren't made the same.
I do wear socks with my crocs when it is cold and if I am planning on
walking a lot like at WDW. Everyone does it. I sometimes try to wear
the same color sock as my croc and than it isn't so noticable.

I've never owned any Crocs - although I know people who own them and just love them. My problem was that I live in a small town and no stores sell genuine Crocs just generics. I ordered the kids Crocs online and hoped for the best in sizing. I have heard that they are not a typical sandal/shoe - they are supposed to fit loosely so there are no pressure points for your feet to get sore. I think I also found an excellent shoe sizer online with Dick's Sporting Goods. I hope they fit the kids instead of sending them back and reordering. The kids wanted the light pink ones with the white strap and they were hard to find online. Good luck.
