To Buy or Not To Buy

We are a family of six going to Disney the end of August. We are flying from Philadelphia. I have been watching airfare and right now I can get rt tickets for $258/ticket. We just moved to this area and I don't know if that's good or not? The rate is not on southwest so if they come out with ding fares or the price goes down I'd be out of luck.
So the question is should I risk it and wait hoping that SWA comes through with lower rates (and no baggage fees) or do I just buy now?
Also, does anyone know what a ding fare from Philadelphia to Orlando is?

TIA

I am not familiar with flying from PHL to MCO but $258 r/t from Boston would be a pretty decent rate these days. There was a time when I could regularly get nonstop flights from here for around $200 but this year, I haven't seen much lower than $270.

I have to agree. I live just over the border in NH and I haven't seen anything less than $280 and most flights are over $300.

That's a fairly good price. But I have to ask, is it a very early flight with a stop? For $18 more you can get a non stop with no baggage fee on Southwest. And I bet in a month or so the price will go down.
It's so hard to bite the bullet and buy airline tickets! If you're happy with the price and flight, just buy them and it'll be one less thing on your mind. Have fun!

I fly out of philly every time I fly and do it on Southwest..what I do is book my flight and IF the flight goes down Southwest allows you to rebook the same flight and gives you a credit..right now I have a credit of something over 150 from flights from my family's April trip :) ....Of course it's a credit but whatever I'll find something to do with it ;)...Love Southwest..

Actually the flights are really good times. They are one way tickets on 2 different airlines, both non stop. Leaving at around 10am non stop to MCO and returning 6pm nonstop to PHL (these are times I choose that work for us) Of course we have baggage fees added to that.
The problem with southwest for this trip is the times for the nonstop flights leaving would be in the evening and returning would be like 7am. So torn because I LOVE southwest and the chance that they could go down will always be out there
