Is it acceptable to "bump" thread you started?? Just asking because I wanted some more opinions and I think my thread has fallen too many pages behind. Not sure anyone reads that far!!

BUT what does bump mean?

you post a topic, and it slowly drops to the bottom of page or onto the next page. if you get no answers to your question.....or need more answers, you can "bump" it back to the top of page 1, by replying to it youself. just type "bump" in the reply.

some people might not read past page 1, so if your post goes to page 2 before many see it, you might not get the answer you need.

yep. then I saw a post that mentioned giving a bump UP. it all became clear.
