I know we've talked about this before but...
I got a quote today from my TA for 10 nights at POP. It came to $1700 taxes in Cdn. Now, on my last visit to the WDW website I figured out that with exchange I was looking at about $1300. I know the difference is fantastic but what I don't get is WHY?

Any ideas?

First of all GST!

Our Taxes is what kills it!

I am not sure of the answer to your question either. . . .but when we went to Orlando a few years ago, my sister who owned her own travel agency, could not get us any deals that were better than what we could find on our own.
Booking everything ourselves saved us a huge amount of money.
Our savings where largely due to shared information from these boards.

Good luck in your trip planning and have a great holiday!
