I should know this but I thought I'd ask here too :)

We're going to MK in early May (Friday & Wed) and plan to be there by rope drop (park opens at 9am). How much time should we allow to get to TTC and then the monorail or ferry ride over to MK?

THANKS!!

leave at 7:30 - you should be at the rd at 8:30 - but things can go wrong - so leave at 7:30am.

I agree with Spicycat!

7.30 departure for 8.30 RD usually gives plenty of time to get to the parks, get parked, get to TTC, use monorail/boat, go through security, go through ticket gate to RD. Phew! If everything goes to plan, you should have some time to kill, if not, you have time to catch up. I would rather make sure I get there in plenty of time than feel rushed. I am on vacation after all! (Mind you I did have to get 15 people up and into the parks for 8.00). Its an early morning, but so worth it!

Enjoy!

I think 7:30 at that time of the year is very early. Unless you want to be standing right at the rope. You will be at the tram in 20-25 min. The monorail runs every 5 min so that is another 10, Security before the park opens is very fast, you probably wont have more than 5 people in front of your party. The it is another 5 min walk to the rope. 8;00 should get you there in plenty of time.
even on early entry days.

If you were going memorial day or during the summer maybe 7:30, but the crowds during the 1st week of may are light and with bookings down it should be a breeze.
