can any rci members reccomend any disneyworld "themed" resorts that are close and maybe offer a free shuttle service. we are planning a 25 anniversery trip/cruise and could some tips. PS- this is my first post!

I am sure we can help you here..but I am not sure I understand what you mean

There are lots and lots of RCI resorts close to Disney... we only go to Gold Crown Resorts or International Distinction or whatever they call it these days
But, none of them are Disney themed. is that what you meant?

We love the Hilton Grand Vacations at Sea World and International Drive.. (we bought at I drive), Embassy Vacation Resort at Grand Beach, Vistana Villages (lots of people like the Vistana resort too, but make sure you are in the new bit!)

This year we are staying at Summer Bay which people speak highly of...

And Bonnet Creek is very close to Disney.. its actually on Disney property.

My advice if you are staying off site is to rent a car. Most of the hotels will offer shuttles, but they are very limited indeed, plus you may want to go to the grocery store or go out to an off site restarurant one night..

Orange Lake Country Club is Gold Crown and VERY close to Disney.
We own there and can also trade through RCI.
It is very big and spread out some like it some don't, we do.
We own a 3 bedroom and it is very spacious.

we own at orange lake also, we own a two bedroom, it is so nice there, but if you are going for over 7 days i would suggest skyauction.com lots of 2 and 3 bedroom villas there, don't worry about selection if u don't find what you want, they post things daily

I currently traded one of our weeks at OLCC and looking to go to St. Martin or Aruba next April 06 after a cruise. Already have some properties on search for when they open up but wondering if you have stayed in any places in the carribean. I belong to tug2.net and get great info. there but just wondering.
We love OLCC Can't wait to get back there next October 06 for our Disney trip.
