this is on histograms ( all i needed to hear was they were graphs and i thought "sounds like math ) but there are other articles also

I am not big fan of Michael Reichmann but that is a decent explanation.

You want a great book that'll teach you pretty much just about everything you need to know? Get this book here: Understanding Exposure.
I don't think he covers histograms in there... but He does cover just about everything else!

I agree about "Understanding Exposure". Just make sure you get the Revised Edition
