SOS, wish I was but just not a computer guru here. I keep getting this new error message and don't know if it's something I can solve on my end:

500 Internal Privoxy Error
Privoxy encountered an error while processing your request:

Could not load template file connect-failed or one of its included components.

Please contact your proxy administrator.

If you are the proxy administrator, please put the required file(s)in the (confdir)/templates directory. The location of the (confdir) directory is specified in the main Privoxy config file. (It's typically the Privoxy install directory, or /etc/privoxy/).

If I reload (sometimes a couple times) the page will finally show up. It's aggravating to say the least (need to insert smilie showing beating computer with hammer LOL) :goodvibes

This recenty started. I am using AT&T MiFi with a wireless router on an older desktop (Vista) when this comes up. I don't remember seeing it when using my newer laptop (7). Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :surfweb:

500 Internal Server Error
A generic error message, given when no more specific message is suitable.

This is an error sent to your browser by a web server. Assuming this is a website, like DISBoards or something, it means there is something wrong with the website.

Before I posted my question I had googled it and all I saw was other people asking for help on what a "500 Internal Privoxy Error message" was :cutie:

So thank you, it's nice to know what it is and for me not to try and fix it (which could be very dangerous in my hands)
