To and from airport...

Mears Connect shuttle buses, about $18.00 per person each way to any Disney's resort (also a few other resorts about the Disney complex).

The person who mentioned "baggage issues" raises a disadvantage of booked chauffeured cars (towncars, limos). If upon landing you got caught in a long airline customer service queue to deal with baggage or other unforeseen problems, could you be forced to walk away from your bags or to walk away from your prepaid ride?

Or should you book a later pickup that would take care of most unforeseen delays and hopefully rely only on a short grace period to be granted by your driver?
That seems a strange concern. First, (usually) it's going to be an extremely small percentage (probably approaching 0) that have some kind of added delay after stepping off the flight. Second, any transportation company that says "you catch the ride now or your lose it" in extenuating circumstances wouldn't be in business for very long.

This is a really good question if you're landing at Terminal C. I waited an hour for my luggage in December. Would a car service wait this long for you?

I had Mears Connect booked, so I didn't have a problem. BTW, my Mears Connect driver told me that earlier that week someone had waited for 3 hours at Terminal C for their luggage.

Perhaps by now this Terminal C problem has been fixed. I hope so!

My flight in December was delayed quite a bit and we were to land in Terminal C. I had a car service booked and the driver did wait (we were 1 1/2 hours late).

We arrived to Terminal C last Saturday and our luggage came very quickly, so it appears they may have fixed the problems. We landed around dinner time so we decided to go ahead and eat dinner in the food court before getting our luggage. I actually got a call from someone with Jet Blue while we were eating to let me know the luggage was there waiting.

That's great to know. Thanks for posting this!

They should. I mean I think it would be polite to reach out to the driver and let them know you're waiting on luggage.

Maybe we need to develop a chart and have a mod pin it... Show time on one axis, cost on the other and plot where the various options lie:

* Ride share: Quick, cheap or expensive
* Taxi: Quick, moderate cost
* Rental Car: Moderate speed, moderate cost
* Busses (Mears, whatever): slow, cheap
* Town car: Quick, expensive

Did I miss any?
How slow is sunshine flyers? Any experience?

We never rode them. Our only experience is when we were at MCO waiting for the shuttle to our hotel and the "conductors" kept asking us to move out the way. Despite the fact they had like 5 people waiting WAY off to the side and their bus was NO WHERE in sight. More than happy to move out of the way when we were actually IN the way.

Private car service with driver who is waiting for you at the airport. They usually have a small sign or something with your name on it so that you can find them.

I went through Mears and thus far have had great experiences with them.
Thanks
