Have you heard the latest "scandal" about the series? My DD and my DH (I haven't talked to him since he started reading the books) LOVE the series and are excited for the next book. DH said you can go to the website and read a chapter. So, I went to the website to check it out. It's not a chapter, it's about 275 pages or what she has done of the 5th book. Turns out that someone published a rough draft online without the author's permission. She was upset, because, for one, it wasn't meant to be published, and two it wasn't how she wanted people to read it.
So, she has decided to post it on her website for all of her fans to see. Which, is kind of exciting. Until you read her note saying that she is just heartbroken about this whole thing, and at this point she doesn't know if she can continue on writing the book. (I would think there woudl be contracts). She says at this point if she had to finish the book, she'd kill off Edward. I think it's very sad that a series of books that are so popular could come to an end because someone was selfish enough to post it online
