Yes, ever other night is cruise casual. So, jeans and a nice shirt is perfectly acceptable.

What a great trip report. We leave in 3 weeks and are super excited. Just a couple of questions for you. Not really Alaska questions at all. What is the Pluto Pajama Party? Our two previous cruises were Vancouver to LA repos. Is it normally held on a sea day? Thank you PS. We've docked twice in Vancouver and never had an issue doing the normal walk off. Once our tag character was called it took about 20 minutes to walk off, get our bags, clear customs and get a taxi. Maybe we just lucked in. The longest delay was the first trip at customs as my husband wasn't with us and they held me up in order to read the notarized note I had from him authorizing me to take our daughter on the cruise.

Pluto's pajama party is an activity for kids in the club. It'll be on the navigator. I'm pretty sure it takes place at 9:30 or 9:45. If you have second seating for dinner you can have the kids do Dine and Play. All you have to do to participate in Dine and Play is tell your server in the Main Dining Room that your kids will be doing Dine and Play that night. The servers will make sure your kids get their food fast that night. At 9pm cast members from Kids Club will come to the dining room to collect kids and walk them to club. We had our kids wear their jams to dinner so they were all ready.

Thank you so much for your trip report. I'm taking my 3 year old on September 1st and he was thrilled to see he'll get to meet Woody and Buzz on the "Mickey Boat" It was also nice to get some information about the Liarsville excursion as I've signed us up for that and wasn't really finding much about it.

I'm glad you had such a good time and am looking even more forward to my trip now.
