My husband is really into wrestling, he wanted to go and watch it being filmed on our trip but I said no way :rolleyes1

So to make it up to him, is there anywhere in the park selling wrestling merchandise?

Thanks!

All the times I have been there, I never have seen TNA merch, but I also have not actively looked for it.

I found on their site "Shop TNA is the merchandising branch of Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling. Shop TNA sells merchandise at all the Live Events as well as online at www.ShopTNA.com."

You should just go and make him happy. It is only 2 hours :thumbsup2

I'm guessing no since it's not a regular event at the Studios. I can't remember seeing anything at the Universal store Saturday night.

Your right metro
I guess.it's due they can charge more online for it because I can remember a few years ago seeing a tna shirt when they were still testing HRRR and it was the same shirt online but cheaper and that was the time I seen anything TNA in the parks

Once you get into the TNA iMPACT taping, the first thing you will encounter through the door is a "gimmick table." Like all wrestling shows outside of WWE, the gimmick table has a bunch of DVDs and misc merchandise and usually a bunch of shirts displayed in the back. The last couple of times I went to a taping they also had a clearance section with reduced price merchandise.

It is odd that you can't buy iMPACT branded merchandise in the parks, especially when they have dedicated kiosks in CityWalk to Angry Birds and Saturday Night Live merchandise (I'm guessing these have to be third party vendors, but still). But to be fair, for YEARS you would never even know iMPACT was being taped at Universal. There were no signs and definitely not labeled on the park maps (which I think started last year). They are the read headed step-child of the parks and it's bewildering they aren't used more as a special attraction.

You can see when the shows are scheduled on the Universal Florida website. Look under events.

Thanks for all the replies.

I'm definitely not going so it looks like he will have to buy lots of Marvel souvenirs instead!

We will be there on a Thursday night so this will make my boys so happy. Glad I stumbled on this thread.

Not to start anything as I would not want to go either but what about him going by himself. You could stay in the park for a few hours or find a seat at City Walk and people watch. Then meet up when it is over.

When we went we did not stay whole time, it's free, at least take your DH inside to buy merchandise then he can sTay and you could have one on one time until it is over. It really is not that bad of a show.

I think that it's fun personally. (Should I admit that? ;) )

DH wants to do this too when we are there in January. Those of you who have gone before, what time did you get in line? We will not have Universal Studios tix, only IoA, so he'll be in the line around back, if that makes a difference.

OP, I understand, I don't want to go either! Luckily we will also be there with my brothers who will accompany him!

If it's like before, you go to Guest Services in the morning and get a number. Then you line up about 30-45 minutes before they let you in.
