TL or BB?

for all the times we've been to Disney never been to a water park

Will be family of 4. Girls are 12&7. 7 yo is a daredevil 12 yo no so much

Going end of August. Which would you suggest for first water park experience. Looking for a mix of both and things we can all do maybe together?

But seriously, probably either would be good. For the younger kids, most say Blizzard Beach is best. The wave pool at TL is really strong (can knock kids over) and the concrete/surface of the pool is rough (so knock over = skinned knees), and there's not as many attractions there for kids. Blizzard Beach is truly kid-friendly and they have stuff to offer both of your kids ages, with two separate "play" areas, one for young kids, one for older/tweens etc... They also have that really cool tobaggan ride, where you can all race each other.

That all said, TL has the snorkeling which could be really neat, and a great lazy river.

Ski Patrol Area will be great for both, family raft ride is awesome and the slides are much better.

BB would be my choice as well. Wave pool is very cool at typhoon as is swimming with the Sharks- but other than that- I think everything at bb has typhoon beat.
