Hi Wendy! You were on the road up near me...it was terrible today! Glad to hear the kids are off to camp and excited to be there. Please, if ever goodness forbid, you need someone to go get them quick, remember I'm already up here....
Does DS know he's getting a new room? DD's room turned out gorgeous, its going to look so nice.
.
By terrible I assume you mean the traffic (since the weather was gorgeous!). Yes, it was a parking lot part of the way, and there was no rhyme or reason to it. Stop, crawl, and then go go go all of a sudden, with nothing in sight that could have caused it. We did see ALOT of Orthodox Jews driving up there. Guess it will be quieter when I go back since it will be a Saturday! Thanks so much for your offer. Hopefully I never need to take you up on it!
DS has no clue about his room. His birthday isn't until February, and he thinks we will do it in January or February. I just figure it's easier to do it when he isn't here, since there will be a period of time when there is no furniture in the room. Hopefully it will get here in time, or he's gonna come home to a mattress on the floor!

I will take pictures when it's all done. Hopefully it will look as good in reality as it does in my mind! I did paint a small sample area of the blue, and it is the perfect color! Just hope the grey looks as good.
I am not going to put up all his Mets posters and pennants and stuff--he can decide where he wants stuff. I will put up his lifesize David Wright, since I know where he wants that, and I'll put some of the stuff up on his shelves. But for the most part I want him to be able to do his room his way. I just wonder if he will still want his old stuff up there. Most of it has come down, but he has a cross stitch adoption announcement that I made when he came home, and also a print of the Wayne Watson song "A Place For You" that I listened to every day while we were waiting to go get him. They have always been on his wall. Laura still has her stuff up--a cross stitch and an adoption poem. But they aren't exactly Mets material! Guess we'll wait and see. I have no idea what to do with them if he doesn't want them up.
OK, I have a major crisis. I have promised myself that tomorrow I will a) go back to eating the way I'm supposed to and b) go back to the gym. The problem is that there is a York Peppermint Patty sitting on my counter. I just ate one, and I don't want another. So, do I a) leave it there and pretend it isn't staring at me and calling my name, b) stick it in the fridge or freezer and do the same, or c) throw it away (sacrilige!!) If my sister wasn't on her way to St. Lucia, I would just give it to her, but that is not an option. Help!!!! I really need to get back on track or my clothes for Scotland won't fit and I won't be able to walk up the Royal Mile. Not that 10 days at the gym is gonna make a huge difference...but it's a step in the right direction.
