Hi everyone!
:welcome: SCHBR'smom ! I've seen you around because I remember your DD :stir: Makes me laugh.

M&N I remember the bakery truck coming by. Oh the smells! :cloud9:

:stir: makes me laugh, too, she also gives me headaches :headache:, terrifies me :scared: and makes me scream. Thankfully, she's cute. :cutie:

Never had a bakery truck here. I think I'd love it, though.

Yeah Pepper. That racer is a sweet person...even if she likes that terrible 18. Tell her I really missed her this week with him breaking that guitar he won.

.

I sure will! Guitar? LOL

DD(0) is a teeny tiny 5 1/2 mos. I put down 0 because the others insist she is 0 until she turns 1. We even have 0 birthday parties when they come home from the hospital with a 0 candle. Very cute.

Oh, and yes, pretzels are good for you. Even chocolate covered, it evens out. Just like banana splits, the banana and cherry make it health food. :rotfl: I had a neighbor once who said cake was healthy for you because it had eggs in it. :rotfl: Works for me! :thumbsup2

Hi welcome!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the way you think

Yup, I got the PM--just never got notified that I HAD a PM!!!

My idea of a balanced diet is a cookie in each hand. We determined that Mom's chocolate chip cookies are a complete meal. Why?
Butter = dairy
Eggs = protein
Vanilla comes from beans = veggie
Flour = starch
Chocolate comes from beans = veggie

Wash 'em down with a glass of juice and you cover ALL the food groups at once!

In any event, I agree that pretzels are health food. And dipped in chocolate, well, there's that whole beans are a veggie thing...

I remember the Charles Chips delivery trucks! Got chips and pretzels in a can. Folks I babysat for used to get those. They were YUMMY! I love hard pretzels, and those hand twisted ones are to die for!!!

Those awful storms came through here this morning too. WOW!

Ooops, I was wrong. No PM about the move. The 2 PMs were about menu updates for Hershey.

So why didnt I get that PM? Are you all trying to get rid of me???:sad2:

Wendy, I would so not want to get rid of you! You're my favorite Jersey Girl!

Can you hear it? The ominous music? :scared:A few years ago I put in one of those closet systems, the ones you buy from Home Depot with all the racks and shelves. Its slowly coming down. Different shelves are leaning, the racks are coming off the wall. Guess who didn't do a good job? Its just going to collapse one day and bury me in all my cute clothes. If you don't hear from me, call out the calvary.

What am I doing about it? Absolutely nothing. I just cannot stand the idea of taking everything out of the closet. I suppose I should, the closet is telling me it has too much junk in it....but I just can't do it, not yet. I'm too scared....

We never had the bakery trucks. But we did have the Schwanns man who had the most amazing ice cream confections. Yummy. I think we may have to have a pretzel-off, to determine just which pretzels are the best. I like the honey mustard ones!

I knew it wouldn't last long.

It sounds like you may be cleaning your closet sooner or later. Do like I did to my craft closet...take all the stuff out and put it in the living room! My piles have gotten smaller but not very fast!
Hammonds sells some little bags that they have put seasoning on. I just love snack food...and it shows.

:love::love::love::love::love:

Hey, I will just have to come up there and get you reorganized! We'll have your closet shipshape in no time!! Whatcha doin' July 12? I take the kids to camp that day, so I'll be up your way anyway...

Hi everyone,

Boy, it is quiet in here tonight. (insert cricket sounds here ha ha)

Well, Pepper, get chatting with us then! :rotfl2:

Oh, Wendy, bless your heart. I would never, ever, subject someone I liked to the perils of my closet. That is why I have chosen to ignore it. I like myself too much! :lmao:

Hey there...kimberlee...glad you're enjoying our antics! Kudos to the brilliance of fellow Tker DL55--she came up with the name. Welcome to the mayhem!

(btw, your family is gorgeous! Such cute pictures!)

BOO.....Remember me?:hippie:

I've been AWOL for quit sometime now. Keeping up with some of you on facebook but not all of you have facebook. I MISS YOU.:sad1:

Been having to fight for computer time and facebook is about all I have time for. (I must do that to keep a check up on DD) Pretty much on and off on there too. That is where I learned there is a new thread though. Figured I'd come over and say hi.

DS bought him his own laptop so I don't have to fight with him anymore for computer time.

DD is helping out with VBS so the computer is ALL mine. BWAHAHA:surfweb:

Hello TKers!

welcomewagon.gif
to our new friends that decided to stop by and check us out!

For those of you trying to track me down to make sure I post please see below......

This was my post from last night. Didn't you say something about a TKer is someone who's post is skipped over or ignored. ;)

What a busy day it was today! Work, Baby shower, Closing on our refinance and then a PTO meeting. It only gets busier from here. Only 8 more days until school is over! :woohoo: I'm sure I'll be feeling like this
crazy.gif
by the end of August but I'll try to make sure I enjoy the ride.

I hope everyone has a good night!

Oh, Pikester, were you feeling ignored? I'm sooooo sorry!

Welcome home Pike!

Hope that helps!

Hey Shmu! You are right about it being a long time...but we still feel like you are one of us. I thought we would have to email you in case you didn't get the pm. How do you find out about here on Facebook? I've never gone there. I miss your stories. Hope Puny is doing good!

And a warm welcome to kimberleeJohnston...feel free to stick around and get to know us. We do talk about serious things sometimes. Discuss anything and we can find something to say about it. :rotfl: We don't want people here to feel left out or neglected. I see you did a cruise. I took a 3 day one on the Wonder, my first ever cruise, and loved it. I hope to go again. Where is the Magic going on your Oct cruise?

Morning all:

Sorry I missed the big move...day late, dollar short as they say. Like the new place MK...:thumbsup2

:stir: makes me laugh, too, she also gives me headaches :headache:, terrifies me :scared: and makes me scream. Thankfully, she's cute. :cutie:

Welcome, always love a new face. I have one of those DD too...right now we're dealing with her teaching all the little girls at a birthday party how to "flip the bird". BTW thanks for all the suggestions, we had actually done the disobeying punishment...I have my fingers crossed that she finds something else "new" soon.

BOO.....Remember me?:hippie:

Hey Shmu...how's things??

Yeah another Canadian...hope you stick around.

Better get going with my day.
TTYL

:welcome: kimberleeJohnston. What a cute family. I noticed you have been on a Disney cruise and have another one planned. Is someone hooked on cruising? ;)
Shmu Long time no see. I don't do facebook because I'm already spending too much time on the internet. :surfweb: I may have to break down and check it out.
MagiKitty if your closet is colapsing from the amount of items maybe you should clean it out. :rolleyes1 We would really miss you if the closet strikes. :lmao:

Hey, BKMETV I was gonna respond to your post about your DD and her new hand gestures but was afraid to post on the last thread lest I send it over the limit in the middle of the big move. You have my sympathy. My DD is 9 and I have been trying to get across the point of not doing things just because everyone else does. (We actually had a really great sermon this Sunday on how we as Christians are supposed to not be just like everyone else.... too bad it was in the adult class and not hers.) ANYWAY.... Maybe we can console each other when they hit being a teenager. On the other hand, your DD might just come in handy if you get really ticked off by an idiot when you are driving! (which reminds me of a George Carlin quote “Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?”)

Speaking of "out of the mouth of babes".... I still remember VIVIDLY when my DS had just watched "Homeward Bound" for the first time. Out of the entire show he picks up on one thing. During church he proceeds to use his new word and call the preachers son a "butt sniffer". :scared: Beautiful, just beautiful, right?

MagiKitty, I can relate to the closet chaos! I recently did a bit of cleaning. Ended up selling 19 dresses on ebay and did not even make a dent! Thankfully the closet is not collapsing but I do have to tunnel in! I have a 45 gallon trash bag full of shoes I need to sort through plus another 20 or so pair on some shelves. Then, of course, there are the "seasonal" totes and the "when I get skinny again" totes to go through. Why on earth do women think they need so many clothes? :sad2:

Welcome kimberleeJohnston! I agree with everyone else... you have a lovely family. Hope we get to see you around some more.

Whgrn, I think I just made it back to the thread soon enough but I never got a pm either about the new thread. :scratchin Sounds kinda fishy, doesn't it?
fish.gif
Next we will have to start a thread for the rejected and forgotten friends of the friendless TKers! Right, Pikester?

Hi All,
A quiet second to last day before school lets out. :woohoo:
I've started packing a few things for Hershey Camp. Can't believe its just a little over a month away.

We never had the bakery trucks. But we did have the Schwanns man who had the most amazing ice cream confections. Yummy. I think we may have to have a pretzel-off, to determine just which pretzels are the best. I like the honey mustard ones!

We didn't have a bakery, pretzel or Schwanns truck come around when I was growing up in the hood. There was a guy who would come around and sell fresh fruit and veggies out of his stationwagon. He'd stop the car somewhere on our street, get out his megaphone and start announcing..."Fresh peaches, pears and plums $X/lb. Fresh tomatoes and corn $X/dozen." He really did have good produce. I guess we we just healthier than y'all. :snooty:

Kitty - Hope you get that closet fixed or cleaned out soon. Don't want to see you on the news trapped under sweaters and shoe boxes. :rotfl2:

Hi Pikester, Shmu, Ev, DL55, Marie, M&N & Whgrn :flower3:

:welcome: kimberleeJohnston HOpe you stick around! We're a lot of fun.
