I still have it in my inbox. Let me know if you want me to forward it to you.....

I'll check and see what coupons I still have. Or I might just order from Amazon. DH is working crazy hours this week and DD14 and DD6 both have B-day parties this weekend. Might not have time to hit the bookstore.

Have you ever read Peter and The Starcatchers series. It's also written by Ridley Pearson (and others) and has to deal with the story of Peter Pan. Very interesting and very different. But most entertaining.

I have the first one on audiobook, but haven't listened to it yet. I do intend to read them though!

I have the second book in the series in my Amazon cart right now. I keep debating if I should just order it and save DH the pain of going to the bookstore with me. :lmao: I could spent 2 hours there and he's done after looking at the magazines in 10 minutes.

I should be in bed. I really should be. Why am I so dang addicted to this board?! :rotfl:

I'm currently enjoying some cold lemonade from Chick-fil-A and I KNOW I'm going to regret this tonight. Geez, I take a sip of anything and baby girl inside me does jumping jacks, making me wake up during the night waddling to the bathroom. But it's just sooo good!

I'm off to bed as well...with a minor bathroom detour first. Maybe I won't have to get up later on then. Of course I complain about this now, but I'll think getting up one time for the bathroom will be heaven once I'm waking up every couple of hours for feedings. I seriously hope she's like her brother. Rylan started sleeping through the night at about 6 weeks old...8pm to 8am.

MK, that was one evil post first thing in the morning. :rotfl2::rotfl2: I could just DH's eyeroll if I told him I ordered candy off of Amazon. He already thinks I'm crazy and this would not help my case.

Mary, sometimes nothing tastes better than a nice, tall, cold glass of lemonade on a hot day.

DH just called and said he should be home earlier tonight...he didn't make it home until almost 8pm yesterday. Which is good since both DD14 and DD6 have birthday parties to go to this weekend and I forgot to get gifts.

Good morning! I actually feel refreshed today...Rylan is still sleeping! I don't know what I did yesterday to have him sleep so long but I need to see if I can repeat it! Of course, I'll only feel refreshed for maybe an hour before I'm in dire need of a nap. How long until they turn 18...? :rotfl:

MK - Candy on Amazon? I never would have thought to check there. Oh my...the possibilities...

JO - Hope you're able to get the gifts!

Morning:

Stopped by to say Hi...yes I know 2 days in a row, could become a habit

I'm really missing out...Amazon Canada only sells books, DVDs and such ...definitely no chocolates!!

Heard from the doctor's office...I have an appt next week with the surgeon re: removing my gall bladder...only took 2 weeks to get an appt so I'm happy. With my luck they'll probably want to schedule the surgery next month when we're on our trip!!

I'm off to my sister's place in Stratford tomorrow...it's Mom's 79th so we are planning a big night out...if I don't get by before then have a good weekend all.

Happy birthday Ev's Mom! Hope you have wonderful weather to enjoy it.

Ev, I had no idea about your gall bladder OR your trip!

Yeah, Amazon is deadly. I've bought foodstuff from them before. I live in fairly rural America, and especially in the winter when I can't get down to Jersey for some supplies, I order from them. Haven't gotten chocolate though..but they have a pretty good policy. A few weeks ago I ordered some clearanced books, there were such a great demand, they had to cancel my order. But gave me a $25 gc for my trouble! Hmm...what shall I use it on?

JO, yeah for DH being home early tonight. Its been good weather to spend outdoors with those you love. THis evening though, it looks like its going to be me and the laundry line. Oh, my husband John Krasinski on the Office!

Sorry I guess I mentioned it on FB but not here. Gall bladder's been acting up for a couple of years so I'm going for lapro (sp?) surgery. JO and I had a whole big discussion on free healthcare and how it affects my treatment etc.

Trip is in mid May...we fly to Denver stay a couple of days with friends, then rent a motorhome and drive to Vegas...stopping at the Grand Canyon and Sedona AZ along the way. Should be fun.

I thought David Cook was your husband??? You really get around!! ;)

Ev, that sounds like a great trip! Beautiful country out there from what I've seen in tv and magazines. Never toured the Southwest (unless you count Vegas!).

Yeah, David just wasn't giving me the attention I needed. I wanted it to work so badly. At least John and I have quality time every night! And he's a little closer to my age and sense of snarkiness...

Hi all!

Been a rough few days here. DS12 went in for his check-up yesterday and ended up having to have blood work and CT scan for some chronic sinus stuff. Poor guy. Thought he was going to pass out when they did the draw. He went absolutely pale. We'll find out in a few days the results.
He also had to get 2 shots. I think he's had his fill of needles for a while.

Ev - so nice to see you posting over here. Miss you. Hope you can get in for that gall bladder removal soon. Those attacks can be terrible.

JOCA
- Hope DD is feeling better.

DL55 - That vacation is coming up fast!!!

Kitty - Thanks for the Amazon link. I'm sure DH will be paying it a visit soon. ;)

What are these book y'all speak of that take place at Disney??? :confused3

Hey D...glad I could "help" with the Amazon link. And remember, you get free ship over $25, so if you did want to get those Kingdom Keeper books...I'm just saying.

This week the third book by Ridley Pearson in the series came out. They're for young adults, but you could read it out loud to little ones. They take place in the parks. Some Evil characters are trying to take over WDW. The first took place mainly in MK, the second in MK and AK. This one is supposed to be DHS and EPCOT. Its nice because as the author describes scenes, I can see it EXACTLY as they are in the parks. It can get a bit scary, but you know I"m a big fraidy-cat anyway. Not nearly as complicated as Harry Potter, more on the scale of Percy Jackson IMO. Lots of fun and I support anything that gets kids reading!

It's just the next generation, I mean come on he's 7 months already. Next thing I know he'll be asking for an iPad or something. :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: LITC, he is just toooooo cute!! Kiss our little man from me!

Hmmm, KItty, do you think my DS13 would like them? He's been reading all the vampire books and loved them, and if they're scary, they might appeal. And at 545 pages, they should last him more than a day or 2 of reading!

I had DS to the new shrink today. The news was not good. He's as bad as I'd feared, and then some. Going to try new meds and see if we can help the total lack of impulse control. Sadly, the worst problems can't be helped with meds. If he makes it through middle school with no suspensions, it will be a miracle, and if he gets through HS without being arrested, I'll be very pleasantly surprised. I wish I could just love him through it, but there's not enough love in the world to help someone as broken as he is. It just breaks my heart to see him so hurt and angry. Kinda makes you wonder what happened in his early life.

Well, tomorrow the kids go back to school. :worship::cool1::yay::dance3::):cheer2: Not that I'm happy about it or anything...:rotfl2:
