I've been eyeing up the Universal ad at the top and wanting to go back to FL this summer. The shuttle is taking off in late July and I've always wanted to see it in person before they stop the missions. Going to have to see if I can put something together.

It was dry and sharp! I was washing, so my skin was pretty pruny. But nevertheless, I bled from mash!

And I thought *I* was a klutz!

Got news yesterday that my grandfather's sister passed away yesterday. Guess that made her my great aunt, right? She was 96. Last time I saw her she still looked great. I hope I get the longevity from that side of the family.

DS made a further step in his Jiu-Jitsu last night. Another stripe added to his belt. He is now a 3 stripe blue belt. One more stripe and the next step will be his purple belt. His coach and his 2 instructors said he should reach that goal by the end of the year. They are going to help see to it! I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard. An added bonus is that he is really good at it too. Plus he soaks up every new thing he learns like a sponge.

Sorry to hear about your great aunt. Wow, 96. And good job to your DS!

Happy Birthday M&N's mom!!

Duke seems to be doing a little better. He's more playful today and seems a bit less lost. I came home from PT and found him sitting up on the back of my recliner!

I just got a text saying that all redline clearance at NY&Company are buy one get two free both online and in stores until Monday. I get a lot of my clothes from there. I have a few birthdays coming up and I just placed an order. Good stuff!

That's good because the one we stayed at outside OK City was a dump. Nice on the outside and the lobby. Room had stains on the walls. (Don't even want to know!!!) Dirty sock under bed. Peeling wallpaper. Dirty carpet. Fire alarm went off at midnight scaring the crap out of us. If we hadn't been so tired from driving we would have left. But we were on our way to Austin, TX so we got in late and were up early.
From the website your place looks good and got good reviews so I hope ours was just a fluke.

mariezp I did the opposite in HS.. Ended up taking two math classes..trig and calculus (aced both).

The only way I passed trig was the teacher was my homeroom teacher and I bugged him to death. He gave lots of extra credit to give us points to make up our grades. I tell everyone the only math I am good at is arranging decimals---that's why I was a great librarian!

I have spring fever! It was sunny...and 40! The air was cool but the sun felt so warm. After we ate, I drove Mom around some and then we went to the outlets. I got an Alfred Dunner top for 70 % off!

Sounds like Kitty was getting bargains too.

Glad Duke is showing signs of adapting to the darkness. He knows he's where he is loved.

I'll tell Mom about the bday wishes. Thanks. She enjoyed the day. We even saw some deer when we drove through the county park. I could pull over so we could look at them. One looked like she had a sore leg though.

M&N...I can't even sneak a peek at that thread. I can only guess how horrible and insensitive some people can be. Goodness knows, I respect the right to free speech but but I have a low tolerance for ignorance and stupidity!

I watched a little on tv about the devastation and it just seems unreal. Those people have so little anyway. We just have to pray that the people get the benefits of the aide and not the government. It sounds like theyare very corrupt.
I also watched Pretty Woman...just love that movie.

I did see Webmaster Kathy posted about her mom being missing. She did update and say that her mom's group was suppose to be on their way to the airport but they didn't know if she was injured. Such a sad situation all around. Prayers to them all.

Good morning ladies! happy Friday!

Been watching the earthquake coverage myself. Its unimaginable that an entire city and most of a nation is completely flattened. So much more tragic that the country was struggling even before this happened and now they are literally starting from zero again. I'm so proud of the stories of survival and generosity so far.

Of course, there will always some who poo-poo no matter what you do. Today's report is that Americans ALONE have donated 35 million in two days! That rocks! And of course, it could be better, it always can be. But between donations and prayers, I think that people in general are good and kind.

Ok, lighter note now. I finally put away my Disney pics from October. Really didn't take that long, don't know why I've put it off so long. Toiletries taking longer, as expected. For some reason, I have lots of almost finished bottles that I am determined to finish and then recycle. Buy my book order came in the other day and I'm so tempted to sit down and finish the Percy Jackson series coz its so good!

Not working today. Didn't even get a phone call. I had decided that I wasn't going to work even I had gotten a call because my mouth is hurting. I mentioned on FB that I had bit the inside of mouth 3 times. All in the same place and pretty hard. Dang did that hurt! When I talk it rubs the spot over my teeth and even having my toothbrush rub up against causes pain to shoot up into my upper jaw. I've been putting Oragel on it to numb it which helps a little bit. Who knew biting yourself could hurt this bad?

Oh no Pikester! Sorry you bit your mouth (and sorry I'm not on FB to know it already). If it gets really bad stuff some cotton up between your high gum and cheek. It'll push out your cheek and maybe stop some of the rubbing. Orajel is good but you may hurt yourself more and not feel it!
