The weather forcast was crazy tonight. There are L's all over and they are going to meet up and be awful! There's some blockage out in the Atlantic that's making them come together. There's a big if to what we get but it sure looked like NE was going to have fun---Yeah Pikester-lucky you! The newsman said everytime there's a low in Texas we are in trouble!

I like spring there too. I went to the Flower & Garden Festival once and loved it. EPCOT looked empty without the extra things...even with the Christmas decorations.

I don't think I've ever checked the weather reports so often. We may get up to a foot of snow here. I'm just worried about the winds.

Yeah---they said about winds. You will get more I think. When the one from TX gets here it'll depend on how east it is but the winds will wrap around from the north and give us more depending on where the snow line is. They can't tell that yet. It's starting to snow Wed rush hour! Then snow into Fri! Everyone here is saying the Farmers Almanac is predicting a March storm! And it's always right!!!

According to my local news weatherman my little area is suppose to get anywhere from 9-14 inches of snow. That is just the first storm. They are not giving totals yet for the next storm or if there will even be any.

Nope, no big one yet. The ones that you guys got went right by us. We've only had one snow day so far this winter and that was due to it raining alot over night and then getting freezing temps in the morning. The roads were to dangerous.

Kids are hoping for a snow day tomorrow. I have no plans to work so it doesn't matter to me either way.

Pikester, I think we are about out of snow days. Thank goodness the kids can't go past June 22nd. But I bet they will lose part of their spring break.

Found a thread talking about Gettysburg. Hoping to get some ideas for the trip. I posted a question about the ghost tours. Hopefully someone can give me some suggestions.

I'd just pull them for the last 2 days or whatever. They don't have a graduation here like they do at Wendy's kids' schools. And even if they did, I think DD14 would give it up just to hit the park.

So far the last day of school for us is Tuesday June 15th. If we miss tomorrow then it moves to the 16th. Brian has already said that if the last day of school some how ends up on Monday June 21st then the kids are gonna miss it. It's only a half day anyways. They do learn who their teacher is going to be for the next year but I just figure I can pick up the report cards when we get back. I would just have to make sure when someone would be in the office.

I just figure the last day or 2, what exactly are they doing? If it were longer than that, I would rethink it for my kids. But otherwise, I wouldn't care.
