TKers: Six threads under and still killin' time....

There are so many options out there for a tour that I'm not sure what is best. I do like this one a lot.

http://www.ghostsofgettysburg.com//tours.htm?tourid=3

It sounds as though you get to go inside Robert E. Lee's Headquarters which I've read is the most haunted place there.

We might have to miss the race this weekend too unless DH has off on Saturday. We are taking the kids out to eat and then to see Alice In Wonderland.

That is the one that I was thinking of and I've read that the Carlisle Street Tour is the best one out of the bunch.

I just looked at Seminary Ridge Tour; that looks spooky too.

Hey M&N, I just had my weigh-in this morning and I only lost 1/2 a pound. Was a little disappointed until I reminded myself that equals two sticks of butter.

That was great Pikester. Our body's weight does fluctuate up to 2 pounds a day. You need to just concentrate on what you are doing to get it down and it will happen---maybe not in our timetable, but it will happen. It is frustrating for us when we know we have been 'good' and the scales don't show us. Then we know we were really off track and it shows a loss---the scales just show a number, not all the work we put into it. I used to say, at least it wasn't a gain but you know, sometimes it is a gain for no apparent reason. We just have to keep at it. For me, it's not a diet, it's a life changing system I have to stick with---and I could not tell you how many times I've tried to stick with it! I do have a few of my ww books to prove it!

Morning!!! Dreary day here as usual. Saw the sun for a few moments this morning. Not nearly enough.

Pikester, I remember reading a little about Carlisle Street but not much. I'll have to go back and reread the info. And I'll read up on the reviews.

They announced the stars for this seasons Dancing With The Stars last night. This might be an interesting season.

Phew! Just added another update to my TR. I was a little sad though because it was for our last day at Disney. :sad1:

The sun is shining bright here today and the temps are near 40 all ready! :woohoo:

Still have chores to do so I better get crackin.

Tried to catch up on Pikester's tr but my slow computer takes long to get the pics up and I'm just loving those. I've been in the Exposition Hall but not back far enough I guess. Love the castle pics too---can't have too many castle pics is my philosophy!

DWTS sounds good...not Kate or Pamela though! I'm going with Evan for sure! I want to see how tall he really is...looks very tall on skates!

Sun in and out...just flurries tomorrow I hope. It's in 40's here too I think.

Good morning ladies! It was so wonderful to come on here and see everyone checking in...

Sun is out here. Supposed to be warm and lots of melting. I can only hope! My driveway is an ice rink already.

Last night's drive was such an improvement from last week's. Ran into a little bit of traffic just outside of LaGuardia, but other than that, I was home by 11:30! Wonderful! Dad's off and flying over to the Phils...he should arrive midnight tonight. I always worry about him wandering about the Incheon (Seoul) airport. Its really a great airport, so much to do! There's a museum, a cultural center...and if you have a really long layover, they have bus tours of the city. Since you don't get off the bus, you just walk in and out. I hope to do it someday.

Anyway, have lots to catch up on. Have to check out the Dancing with the Stars lineup!

Is that a good deal? We haven't checked prices yet. We don't usually plan too far ahead except for Disney.
Don't feel like talking much. Throat's sore, Aunt Flo is visiting and my mouth is numb from having a cavity filled. It's a good idea to stay away from me today.

DL55...I'm not too sure if its a good deal. I think it is...

Sorry you're not feeling too hot! Get some tea, curl up on the couch and take care of yourself! Feel better!

DL55, 1 day Hershey Tickets are $52.95.

We were going to do the 2 Day Flex Ticket because we plan on going to Hershey twice but those tickets are $70.50 and if we multiply the price of the 1 day Ticket that is being offered $32.95 by 8 (the amount we would need to go twice) we would get $263.60 which is about $18 cheaper then buying the 2 day Flex.

DL55, I hope you feel better soon.

I've come to the conclusion that Ticketmaster is the biggest rip off site ever. I got an email from Disney On Ice about a presale and discount for a show in April. It's about a week before DD6's birthday so I thought it would be great to take her. Opening night tickets are $11.00. Great, perfect. Went through all the screens to get tickets. After it's all said and done, it cost over $76.00 for those 4 $11.00 tickets. I cannot believe the fees they tack on now. It's completely outrageous.

I am checking on the price I can get tickets for HP through a friend. I think they were what that link says. Maybe know tonight.
Huge blackbirds are hanging out in my neighborhood---do not like them.
DL55---at least you do not have to 'talk' to us! Just hang out here.

JOCA can you go to the venue's box office directly? You'll avoid the ticketmaster fees altogether.

Hmm..we're on the same weird wavelength again. Just found out my local concert venue is having STING and the Royal Philharmonic in late July. And Pat Benetar with REO Speedwagon in August. Tickest go on sale later this month and I'll try to go to the box office for tickets....

Listening to talk radio last night (coz my brother has not mastered the art of conversation...) there was a story about a crime bust in Cali about people taking advantage of online ticket sales and marking them way up. I don't think it was Ticketmaster itself, but somehow it was involved.

No, the hours they are open don't work for us.

I did notice that ticketmaster runs their own auctions for tickets. They say it's to combat ticket scalpers but if you break it all down, aren't they just doing the same thing buy selling to highest bidder? And all their auctions actually start at prices higher than face value.

I've never looked into their auctions...I just play the fate game. If I really want these tickets, I'll find a way to get them within my budget. And if I'm supposed to be at this concert, then the tickets will find me too.

Trying not to stress too much about Sting...but its on my Dad's birthday and I think between my sister and I we'll be able to get everyone tickets and make it a celebration.

Hi All!

Have this really nasty head cold

that's been doing a number on me. Ugh!!!

That's great about the discounted Hershey tix. Hope everyone can take advantage of that.

JOCA - Those ticketmaster fees are outrageous!!! Robbery I tell ya!!!

Kitty - Love that new Hello Kitty in your siggie. :thumbsup2

DL55 - Welcome back from Vegas. Sorry you're ill.

Weather here is supposed to be in the 40s this week and sunny. Maybe rain by this weekend. Good....get rid of that snow and bring on spring.

Kitty--Did you see any Hello Kittys by TY? I cannot remember what ad I saw them in over the weekend.

It's raining here now...Thankfully too warm for snow now.

M&N...what's TY? Please do tell me more...there's never too much Hello Kitty in my life!

I am seriously going through Olympics withdrawal. I had a dream I was friends with Shaun White and we were visiting Niagara Falls...don't ask, I don't know.

Tomorrow's so-called storm isn't scaring the pants off of the weatherman tonight. But we all know that really doesn't mean anything.

I received a note that the post office had tried to deliver something and I wasn't home to sign for it. So I called them and the guy was like, can you come get it in the morning? I said yes. he goes...are you sure now? I said, yes I'll be there tomorrow. Then he goes, if youre not, then we'll have to send it back. Unnecessary! I already told you twice I was coming there to get it tomorrow....

D&D...feel better! Get that cup of tea and rest now...
