Hi Kitty! I am in agony. Since we had to replace DH's car and now have another car payment, we cancelled our cable. Now I can't watch BB..........
My favorite show ever. I wonder if they have it on cbs.com

Walter is watching me type. I asked him what he wanted to say. He didn't verbalize anything, but he kind of pointed to his green and pink spoon. So maybe he wants to tell you all how much he enjoys eating?

hi all!! Just had an awesome dinner made by my wonderful boyfriend Ben. Jambalaya!! Yummy!! Alas, I am still on a car hunt that seems to be never ending.

Sorry Kitty got sidetracked to FB...summer has been great so far, very hot so we've just been hanging in the pool. Bagpipe weekend was great from what I heard. I skipped out on the whole tourist thing. Between July 1st and July 4th holidays and the Scottish festival the town was insanely busy. The pipe band marches down main street every Sat night during the summer so I'll get my fix that way.

Why is your town so crazy for bagpipes?

We were settled by the Scottish...the pipe band parade has been going on for over a hundred years. Use to be that all the cottagers and farmers would come to town to watch the parade and get caught up on all the local news.

The parade is actually quite the sight...50 pipers and drummer march down the street and everyone marches behind (hundreds of people)...they stop for a break then march back to the park and play for everyone. We also have a piper that plays from the top for the lighthouse every night at sunset.
