LITC---wanted to ask about your trip home. What time did you get there? How was Walter on the drive back? Glad you were able to enjoy Hershey too.

D&D---the toy idea sounds great.

Kitty is flying back to Hburg on Tue I think.

Gotta get moving...just home long enough to get a few things. Driving to VA Tue and back Thurs for the funeral. Mom's sister and husband are coming to her house on Thurs pm until Tue so I won't be back here until 8th. I feel so lost without a computer!

Kerrie, we have a Six Flags about 1 1/2 hours from here....Six Flags Great Adventure. Ours is more of a thrill park though compared to a family park. I hope you have lots of fun.

Thank you ladies for the Happy Birthdays!

Didn't do much. Mom made me a cake; marble with buttercream frosting, so yummy! Had the parents, grandmother, MIL and my family here last night around 6PM for cake and ice cream. Sat around on the front porch and visited for an hour or so before everyone went home to get ready for the work day.

Got a cute card from the boys that DS12 picked out. On the front is a fish in a fishbowl saying "I wouldn't say you were old, but in fish years........

(Open the card) "....you'd have been flushed down the toilet a long time ago."

Love you too boys!

I guess that was why in DH's card it said (I would never flush you!). Didn't make sense until I read the kids card. I though maybe he was calling me his best turd or something. You never know with that one.

LITC: No fair that you didn't mention about DH's birthday while we were at the picnic. Why should I be the only one in the spotlight?

Kerrie: I hope you had a good time at Six Flags!

JO: Nice jokes.

D&D: So very glad that you are stopping by to keep us updated. I've been thinking about you and sending prayers your way. Just let us know about the toy drive.

M&N took so many pictures of Walter that he probably thinks he is a model. Mommy and Daddy weren't that far behind in the amount they took!


LITC and JO: You both sound like when DH and I go out. We still talk about the kids even though we're suppose to be getting away for a little while.

Hi M!! I sure will tell him. Sorry about the passing. Have a safe trip. Ride back was fairly uneventful, except for one stretch somewhere in PA, (don't know exactly where we were) that took us about an hour and a half to go about 10 miles. I could have jumped off a bridge. We finally got home around 12:15, 12:30 am Friday. Not to bad considering what time we finally tore ourselves away from you guys!!
Walter did really great on the way back, really no crying at all. What a champ!

LITC: I didn't realize until I met the ladies back at the park that you, DH and Walter had stuck around Hershey. Did you like the outlets? What else did you guys do?

Hi there Pike! Yes we stayed around Hershey longer than we expected to! We walked around chocolate world a bit more, then we went shopping at the outlets (I mainly shopped as Walter fell asleep and DH stayed in the car with him). Then we went over to the hotel hershey, we were going to walk around the gardens they have there, but just after we pulled in was that downpour. Walter and I made it in with only a few drops hitting us, DH on the other hand was a bit further back and get a teensy bit wet! So we walked around the hotel a little bit and looked at the gift shops to ride out the storm. I fed Walter a bottle, then we realized we forgot to buy someone a gift, so we ran back to chocolate world. It was then I got the text from Kitty saying they were at the outlets, so we stopped by there again and then made our way home.

Thought I would check in before my dentist appointment that darling Ben is running behind to get out of the door to (can't say I blame him, the poor guy was up so late last night and didn't crash out til about 2:30 and my appointment is at 8:10 and its now 7:38).
