Aww, you guys are going to be so cute walking around the parks like that. I'll have to make sure I take lots of pictures.

Good morning ladies! Its supposed to get mid-70s today. I can't wait!

Marie, Happy Birthday to DH. I had to look up what italian cream cake is and all I can say is YUM! I love anything coconutty. I'll have to try it.

D and JO...you two are terrible. Now, I did not get a towel animal on my trip, but I did get a bounceback offer which made me laugh! I can only imagine the trouble you two are going to get in! I think you two should buck the trend and NOT wear some sort of button celebrating something. Be your own women. Fly under the radar...

Ev, another great check-in. I still don't understand the no guard-rail thing. It just sounds absurd to me. Why wouldn't you try to keep things on the road and not fall into the ravine below? I'm so glad you're taking this trip and seeing some amazing things. I'll definitely have to live through you, coz I don't think I'll ever get to Colorado now (until there are some guardrails put in all over the state).

Ok, the Dalai Lama is on the Today show. He is so cute.

Let's have a good day ladies! Hope you're enjoying wonderful weather!

D&D and JO were on a roll last night...sorry I missed it! Can't wait to hear that trip report! Don't forget to get in the single rider line so your kids get to sit alone!

Beautiful day todday...have a great one!

Morning:

Another beautiful day in AZ...going to be 85*F (does that mean I can complain about the heat?? ;))

Today we are having a down day...hanging around the park (which is beautiful) doing a bit of laundry and then this afternoon we are going to stroll the main drag checking out the shops. DH & DS are thinking of taking a Jeep tour but I have no desire to do that.

Boy, do I remember that feeling, Ev! We still talk about one of our trips to Ouray. No guardrails and in MANY places the white stripe that is supposed to mark the edge of the highway has fallen off to Lord knows where! There are some very high mountains in Colorado but also some scary deep abysses! In my case, we had ate German food and I was pregnant. Talk about a really good case of nausea! I hope you have been through the worst and can now just go back to enjoying the scenery. Arizona should be much calmer driving! :thumbsup2

Yup went through Ouray...I guess they figure if you drive off the road you'll be never found again!! I have invested in several boxes of Dramamine.
Came down the Oak Canyon into Sedona yesterday also a hairy ride but at least AZ believes in guard rails!!

Ev, it sounds lovely! Enjoy! Why don't you let the guys go off in a jeep, and you shop for some fantastic jewelry or check out some art galleries? Don't forget the sunscreen and hat...

Sorry about the double post...DIS is really acting up on me today...not sure how it manage to post 8 mins apart though???

Yup lots of sunscreen...figure we'll just meander down the street only real destination is the Harley dealer so DH can get a shirt.

Better go get the laundry.

BKMETV We've camped in Oak Canyon. :) Unfortunately we left early when a group of a**h***s came in at 10 pm and yelled and made a bunch of noise for hours. The jeep tour is fun!

Although no guard rails makes me nervous, I have confidence in my ability to stay on the road. :cool2:

We have never found a towel animal in our room. :sad1: I'm sure there won't be any next trip (camping) :lmao:

We get to be Nielsen family this week. Now's my chance to screw up all the ratings. (hehe) We seldom watch network shows.

ok, its official! Facebook hates me and I'm not so hot about it myself.

Sorry, Kitty. Blame the hackers. I hope you get it worked out. I'm sure JO can help. She seems pretty knowledgeable about computers and such.

MK, you should run a anti-virus program and a malware program.

If you need links to some free ones, let me know.

Thanks JO...I have Norton and Malwarebyte. I'm going to run them right now....

MK, did anything turn up on the scans?

Kerrie, how are you doing?

DL55, that is so unfair that you've never received a towel animal. Didn't you hunt down a mousekeeper and demand that she make one for you right then and there?

I'm being a typical pregnant woman. I'm eating. :) The first ultrasound it tomorrow. We're kinda anxious about it because the nurse practioner thinks I might be a few weeks further along. We're definitely hoping for further along and NOT twins. We don't have room for twins.

Kitty, did your scans find anything?

Twins, huh? You could be the first tker to have twins. ;) Are the other kids excited about the baby?

Oh, goodness, let's hope not. We only have room for 1 more in the suburban. We'd have to strap one to the roof. DD5 tells me daily that she loves my baby. DD2 also has a baby in her tummy. DD1 is clueless. DS truly wants a brother, but said he would take a sister if he has to. DD10, well, I think she's more been there, done that. She mainly wants to know what it is.

How have you been?

Glad you are a careful driver---but it's the other guy you have to worry about hogging the road. You need to make your own towel animals and then complain about not having any useable towels. Watch some strange shows to mess up the ratings! That's neat you got picked.

For your sake I hope it's 1 but TK twins would be neat! But then I don't have to get up at 2 and feed them! We'll love the 1!

My eye has been tearing lately. I figured allergies. I was out today and it's getting gunk in it! I got some allergy drops but he said it would not do any good if it's an infection. I haven't had much allergy problems lately. Guess this weather has helped the weeds...

M&N, allergies are the worst! They've been bad here, lately, but fortunately, I've not had your eye problems. DH has the gunk in the eye problems. I hope you don't get an infection. Are they prescription eye drops?
