Good morning ladies! Looks like everyone must have had a busy weekend.
We had a good one. Yesterday we went over to our friends house that we always have game night with. No games. We all watched the latest Sherlock Holmes movie. It was pretty good. On the way home our son told us that he had confirmed that he and their daughter are now more than friends. He is so happy. I am too! She is so precious and is a perfect match for him.

Pikester, people are not very considerate these days. Very rude of them to fill your garage up with smoke! Glad the sale went well otherwise.
We haven't got the guinea pig yet but did get the cage set up. We'll be heading to the zoo on Saturday for DD's birthday celebration and then stop on the way home to pick out her new pet.
I have found that being grown up still doesn't always work out where you get to always make decisions for yourself. Guess since DH told you no you owe him one next time he wants something, right?

It is fun to play toothfairy! Although, she still wonders every time if she is going to get caught with her hand under the pillow! Emma went to all the trouble one year to build a toothfairy trap. Cute but of course the toothfairy out smarted her.
Free bowling sounds like a great program! You will have pros on your hand by the time summer's over.

Welcome back JO! It's been pretty quiet around here...which I guess is a good thing. D&D hasn't picked on me too much. We need to talk racing next week...hopefully Jimmie will not do good at Dover. I didn't pick JR...he never does good there. I just need to face facts. I have not given up on him but...

Oh...I can make up for that.
Thanks for putting the curse on Jimmie this weekend - NOT. Any other weekend would be okay, but not when I pick him.

I had good traveling weather, but the car was acting up..uggg. I got home okay but I guess it needs an o2 sensor. There is more money that could have went towards Disney. ARRRGGGG

We had the o2 sensor go on our van when we drove to TX. Thank goodness it was near a large town in OK. Spent 4 hrs at the dealership entertaining the kids and eating out of the vending machines.

Well, DS12 went back to school today. Not 100% but my rule is if you're well enough to fight w/ your brother (and you have normal temp), you're well enough to go to school. If he's still feeing icky later today I'll call the dr.

The weather was great this weekend. Sunny and 70s.

Finally got in my garden and I was in heaven. I'll take some now and later pictures of it cuz its always neat to see these little plants grow so big.

I'm going to try to grow some berries this year. I bought a kit to make some raised beds and now I just have to finish cutting out the grass and dumping in the dirt.

DL55 - so happy to hear you're going to camp at Ft. Wilderness. I am so excited to you. You'll have to let me know how you like it. I've aways wanted to camp there.

JO - loose teeth are so much fun. (unless your son pulls them out before they are ready. ) I thought DS8 would never lose his teeth. Our tooth fairy brings 1 gold dollar for each tooth and leaves a trail of pixie dust on the floor. The kids love it. We have a small tooth shaped pillow that I picked up at a rummage sale years ago. The kids put their teeth in there so the fairy won't have to disturb them reaching under their pillow.

Marie, those happy endings were way too funny. But gosh, does that sushi look good!

I've heard of that tooth pillow. It sounds so cute! Good luck with the losing/gaining of teeth.

JO...that bowling thing sounds fun! I'm a terrible bowler...either a strike or a gutter ball. Plus, its a great way to practice math! I like to dress up like a 50's teeny bopper when bowling. Haven't found a poodle skirt in my size, but I do wear a fluffy skirt, a little cardy number and my hair in high ponytail. Its all about attitude!

I used to love kids coming into the library showing me their loose trrth. I told them it was against the law to loose teeth in the library. Teeth do not belong inside books!

Pikester---sorry but I would have said to please leave with the smoke...my garage, my rules. So what if you loose a $2 sale! I would have said I have allergies and do not allow smoking. I am not nice about smoke...

Greetings from beautiful Gunnison Colorado!

I haven't got time to catch up with all the postings that I missed so I'll just say HI everyone.

We had a great flight to Denver...rental company didn't have the Tahoe we ordered so much to DH's disgust we ended up with an Escalade Got to get me one of those. Had a great weekend with friends, went to a Wolf Preserve which was very neat and went part way up Pike's Peak...unfortunately because of the weather it was only open to the tree line...so we only made it to 12,000 feet. It probably wasn't a bad thing because DS & I were suffering from the altitude change and were pretty nauseous. DS basically puked his way up Pike's Peak (I know TMI!!)

We picked up the motorhome this morning and it is great. Brand new 2011 model I'll have to post some pics when I get back. The drive through the Rockies to here was fantastic...the mountains really are breath taking. Well better get off of the computer before DH starts to complain.

I was on a tour bus when I went up Pikes Peak. The bus driver told us if we were afraid of heights, just close our eyes...that's what he does!

At least Jimmie didn't win! I do wish Kyle would not do that stupid bow when he wins...I think he did that because they booed him...at least after the Nationwide race they did. I could not hear anything after the Sprint win.

It would be the second Dover race and it's the day after my birthday. So that's a good sign. And bow is just perfect. It's his way of thumbing his nose at all the people who hate him.

And I think that gets the boos going more! I do think he played mind games with Jimmie---caused Jimmie to get a speeding penalty on pit road and that cost Jimmie his lap....I'm not complaining about that.

The taking the bow thing probably does annoy them even more. But it's funny seeing how it never bothers him.

Poor Jimmie, his never ending string of good luck my be running out. He never loses his cool and this time he did and sped off of pit road.

Did you read about the opening ceremony at the Hall of Fame. Lots of big names didn't show up for it and they mostly had lame excuses.

Jeffie, Jimmie, Stewart, Jr, and Kenseth all missed it. Richard Petty was disappointed. No reason given for Kenseth, Jeffie had a prior commitment, Jimmie was on "one last vacation before the baby comes", Stewart was off practicing, and Jr's people were confused as to which events he was to attend.

Jeffie, Jimmie, and Jr will be there on Sunday when the induct Sr. Stewart won't....he has other things to do.

Well---how long have they known when it was going to be? It must be nice to be so popular! My aunt in NC is going to send me an article on it that was in their paper. I'll have to ask if they heard anything about some not going.
