I'm off to a meeting about insurance---they are offering a cheaper policy to retirees but is it still good???? I hate decisions like this!

It's official..DL55 is going to Disneyworld! Booked Fort Wilderness today, but I'm going to call again when next year's rates are out. I think the price is too high but they haven't published the rates for next year. DH is going to have a cow if he sees what they charged.

Wasn't sure I would get it finished in one day but I did! 84 zip ties later my fingertips are just a tad sore but it actually looks like the picture and even appears to be sturdy enough for the little critter so he shouldn't be able to escape. That's how I spent my day.... in between interruptions.

Kitty, I am right there with you for anything that saves me a buck. Somehow I feel like I will never ever reach the level you have though with $36 airfare and a magic drawer that gives out gift cards! Gonna have to check out SLickdeals, and UPromise.... maybe that's the key?

I didn't pick JR...he never does good there. I just need to face facts. I have not given up on him but...

I am so relieved you stopped by, JO. I was missing you. Hope you're feeling better and that the weekend lets you relax and enjoy some pampering...you deserve it!

Thank you all for stopping by my trip report. Its been so great to share my adventure but also really scary to put my quirky self out there for snarkiness and criticism. So far, though, everyone has been so kind and generous.

No big plans for the weekend other than attempting to clean out the fridge, which is probably one of the worst jobs ever. I'd even take changing the litter pan before delving into the depths of the second shelf of the fridge. I don't even want to guess what's going on in there....

Kitty, you are braver than I and way ahead of me! I need to clean out my fridge and change the litter box. Oh well, gonna have to wait til later. Fixin to head into Fort Worth to drop my DS off to coach a Jiu-Jitsu tournament. DH, DD and I are going to wander around town and see what else we can find to do.
You definitely should not worry about people not enjoying your report! It's been fun and witty! Can't wait to hear the rest.

It was called Fair Oaks Mall. Probably not as big as most people are used to haha. We don't really have any big malls in our area. It was pretty darn cool!

I had good traveling weather, but the car was acting up..uggg. I got home okay but I guess it needs an o2 sensor. There is more money that could have went towards Disney. ARRRGGGG

MagiKitty I was going to ask how someone could get snarky and criticize a TR. Then I remembered..complaints about their trip. As long as you don't complain about Disney you should be alright.

Hey DL55! I am constantly amazed how people find something to criticize and disapprove of. There are honest mistakes out there, and there are just different ways to do things. Some people are downright "intolerant" of "other". But I've been so blessed thus far with finding wonderful comments and people enjoying my insanity.

JO...if you're reading this, I made carrot cake cupcakes in your honor. Heck, I made them in everyone's honor! Sometimes you just need a little frosting to make things all better.

aw, Pepper, sorry about the car issues! I don't even know what a O2 sensor is, but I imagine since we need oxygen to breathe and live, it must be pretty important. I hope its not terribly expensive though...

Evening my TKer friends!

I don't have a lot of time to chat so I just wanted to stop by really quick and say hello. I hope you all are enjoying the first half of the weekend. Mom and I had a good day today for our yard sale. It was a little windy and cool until about 1PM but it didn't rain so we had a good turn out. Got rid of most of our junk and what we didn't sell is either being donated or saved for next years sale. So thank you ladies for the good vibes!

One vent I had about today that I would like to share. I have no problem if someone wants to smoke. I don't. I don't like the smell and I've had family members who have died from smoking related cancers and other health issues that smoking had a hand in. But, I had two smokers that felt it was more then OK to walk around in the confines of my garage where all my merchandise wasn on dislplay with a lit cigarette.

marie: How's the GP? I told DH that I wanted one but he said no. I thought when I was a grown up I could do what I wanted?!

Pikester That was really inconsiderate! They are the ones that make everyone get so upset about smokers. I'm not a smoker either but I know most try to be considerate.

I went to sleep super early last night. I just got tired and was in bed by 9:30 and I slept straight through this morning! I don't know what was going on, but I guess I needed it.

Pikester, it was rather rude. Even at a yard sale, those people were guests on your property. At the very least, they should have asked if it was ok....I've never been a smoker, but my Dad was, and luckily he quite over 20 years ago. I still remember how stale he used to smell. Besides, I'm too cheap to shell out $8/pack!

I'm planning to make stuffed pork chops tonight and I can't wait! For once, I have all the proper ingredients. Yum.

I didn't make it to clean the fridge. I just wasn't in the mood.

Not much going on around here. We are watching the Survivor finale. And arguing about who should win.

DD7 finally has some loose teeth. She is thrilled. It's 3 bottom teeth and I can't wait until we get to play tooth fairy with her.

Pikester, totally rude and disrespectful of those people. You should have just told them to step outside of the garage if they wanted to smoke. Your propery, your rules.

Oh...I forgot....I signed the girls up for free bowling this summer. They get 2 free games of bowling every day during the summer months. You only have to pay for the shoe rentals.

Anyway, here's the link. It's only certainly bowling alleys in certain areas but if there is one near by, it's seems like to a great way to spend the afternoon without spending a ton of money.
