Good morning ladies! What a difference a day makes..it was gorgeous and 90 degrees yesterday. Today its a downpour. But really humid. My hair is going nuts.

Guess what I found yesterday!

My niece/goddaughter Alicia! She'll be one at the end of the month. She's showing her teeth and her "go!go!", which is what she calls her walker. She's such a good baby! I got to play with her for hours and the only time she cried is when we left! She has my hair. Her mom asked me for hair advice...she's unfamiliar with curls. I'll get on top of that.

Jo, we're not quite as bad as some places. My DH is still trying to get me to want to go tent camping in Colorado. There's bears, bobcats and mountain lions in them woods! No thank you!

We have coyotes and black bears...but they don't bother people. They had to shoot a bear last week though because it was strolling through a neighbourhood in London sending everyone into a panic.

So, here's what's been on my radar. I've been tweaking my Hershey plans. I'm now leaving on Friday---with D! No, I'm not going home with her...although I would love to hang out with her boys again. We'll fly together to Detroit, and then I'll head to Kansas. I'm going to meet BF's family. Ack! Especially with his grandmother's illness, we think it was time I spend time with his family. Boy am I nervous though! He holds his grandmother in such high esteem, I hope she likes me...

You had me confused there for a second...I couldn't figure out how you were going to stop in Kansas on your way to Hershey...I know I'm Canadian but I even know that's a LITTLE out of the way. I'm sure you'll do great visiting the in-laws. BTW Alicia is gorgeous!

Hey Pepper how are things? I mentioned FD to DH tonight and he actually said "that's a good deal, we should do that sometime"...I almost fell out of my chair...this coming from the guy who said one trip is all he'll ever make!! So there is hope I may get to WDW again some day!!

Aw, thanks for the hug Ev, and sorry for your loss also. It is beyond sad to go to something like that. When I looked in the obit's for his notice, there was a 36 year old listed to his left and a brother and sister 13 and 16 that were killed in a car accident locally just last week. So sad. Just want to hug Walter even tighter.

Sunny and warm weather, which is good...hockey playoffs are on, I don't usually watch until they get down to the last few games. Disney54us is probably more into the hockey than I am

Otherwise I'm starting to pack for our trip...we leave a week from friday so I'm pulling out summer clothes and doing laundry etc.

The school is having a bike rodeo this weekend and I have to arrange snacks for the kids. Other than that life is a bore...

Mere, I have crocs sandals. I wear them all the time in the house. My kids use to have the clog type but have outgrown them. But they did love them while they had them.
