OMG Bops congrats on the win! Woo-hoo! Sounds like Vegas will be lots of fun for you!

Wendy, tell your little fishy congrats from me. As a terrible swimmer, I hold her in awe.

I LOVE to fly. I'm a terrible car passenger. I know its a long shot, but if you ever fly to Asia, JO, they will liquor you up good. They go around with coffee, tea, water, red and white wine. YOu can request other liquor. Beer is free, including Sapporo!

The Eurorail is the train system in Europe. They used to (I don't know if they still have it) have a month long pass for under 25 y/o. You could ride everywhere for $300 (this was the mid-90s), all month long. I landed in Geneva, we made our way down to Nice, Monaco, Florence, Rome, Zurich, and Luxembourg on the train. We then had a rental car for Denmark and Germany. We mostly took overnights, leaving our luggage at the station. I remember one time we woke up and there was a strange guy in there with us!

Free alcohol might just be enough to make me fly to Asia. :lmao:

I would love to travel around Europe one day. DD14 really wants to go to Italy. I'd love to go to Greece and Ireland. And DH just goes where I tell him. :rolleyes1

I hope so.
Oh, I forgot to tell ya'll. My neighborhood Yahoo group had their 10th anniversary last Thursday. I decided to go since I was one of the first members of the group. I wasn't planning on going but, I thought at the last minute what the heck. There were great prizes and a drawing.
I'm glad I went, I won a 3 day resort package trip to LasVegas staying at the Excalibur.:cool1: I've never been to Vegas.

I don't gamble or play cards-I was raised Baptist and they bounced me out for smoking, drinking and dancing long before I got to cards and gambling.

:woohoo: Everyone's going to Vegas!!

I've always found Scotland to be fairly safe, except for a few areas of Glasgow!

Still feel crappy...I hate head colds, at least I got it before our holiday!

Congratulation to DD on her great meet.

Hey Pepper ~ How's my DD's best friend doing??

Doing Great! Voted for her boy last week!

MK, that is awfully scary about your friend. I've never seen Taken but after hearing you compare what happened to her to the movie, I'm not sure I want to.

Pepper, what's up tonight?

Ev, you're going to give us full report on your trip when you get back, right? I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.

Doing good! Just hanging out on the Theme Park threads...learned something new about water park and more options! Didn't know that they could be used even after all the other tickets were used up...very excited!

We'll never drive to Vegas. DH says no. I might have to suck it up and fly. You can get alcohol on the plane, right?

I hope so.

It sounds like a total blast though!!! I would love to do something like that. Like on Gilmore Girls that time they decided to go hiking across Europe! I miss that show.

Are you planning a trip, pepper?

I've been hanging out of the resorts board a lot watching the free dining rumors.

With all the discounts being put in place by Disney, I defiantly have a feeling that they will have free dining. Especially with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It would certainly be strategic of Disney to have free dining.

Lily, we got a pin for free Quick Service dining that we are using right now. But I would love to upgrade that for free. I do have a couple of ADR's booked already just in case.

Do you have a favorite place to eat there?

pepper...I love Gilmore Girls too!

I would like to plan a trip to see Harry at US sometime soon. But if free dining were offered, I"d stay onsite and go visit US. Best of both worlds!

That's good that you have something to fall back on if they don't do the free dining.

My favorite place to eat there would have to be Cape May Cafe Dinner buffet. That place is amazing! How about yourself?

I've never eaten at Cape May. I want to though. Next time!

I think it's a tie between Coral Reef and Ohana. Though the restaurant in Norway was fun too. But I have 3 girls and a meal filled with Princesses was exactly where we needed to go.

We are trying Cape May this year free dining or not. My oldest DD is pescetarian (vegetarian but still eats seafood) I thought Cape May offered the best variety for her.

Narcoossee's is my fav...great setting and lobster...what could be better!

I've never been there, Ev. Was the lobster good?

Hey Pikester! How you doing?

There is defiantly a good selection for those who are vegetarians. Last time I was there I didn't eat any meat and there was still so much food on my plate. Like the macaroni and cheese (OH MY GOODNESS). Mickey Shaped pasta mixed with elbow noodles...h-e-a-v-e-n! We are eating there twice this trip.

Oh, she still eats seafood. She just has a thing against eating farm animals. I support completely on her choice but it sure is making planning meals at WDW interesting.

The lobster was fantastic and so was the fruity drink with the ice cube that changed colour!!
