I live in the middle of nowhere, but within driving distance of a lot. I think that's why I have my 5 hours drive radius limit. Five hours gets me to Toronto, Boston, DC. I'm two hours of NYC, Syracuse, and Scranton and everything in between. I've done a LOT of driving in the area. But I'm one of those people who hears about something and I want to do it, and I'll figure out a way somehow. I'm not very good about limitations!

You're closer then I am so that makes you "close" in my eyes. I may be headed to New York next year(sometime in April). My cousin is marrying a woman from there and they will be blocking off hotel rooms for us. I can't remember exactly where she is from. I need to ask my Mom if she remembers.

I haven't recently, but I will! My cousin has been bugging me to visit him in Hamilton. I may take a long weekend and go visit my sister once she's settled in Rochester and move my way over across the border.

I'm supposed to be working too. The sun from the window is distracting me though. I'm slathering on the SPF instead....

Welcome to another newbie!

Skating was so much fun last night. Its been years, but some things you just never forget. Stayed on my feet - thank God!!! This was the boys first time skating so I was helping them most of the time. DS12 said - No Mom...I don't need any help. He just went out there and learned on his own. Before I knew it he was skating like a pro. DS7 took a little more time and just got the hang of it about the time we had to leave. Both said we have to come back again. I agree. I LIVED at the roller rink in the mid 80s. Brought back some good memories.

Soooo, after Hershey someone will get us to me? I leave July 31.

I don't know... JO and I have dibs to take these Tkers to Disney in Aug. We're gonna break all the rules and get a WHOLE BUNCH of threads started about us.

It looks like he was wearing a condom on his head. And why would you wear such a close fitting hat in that heat?

I saw a picture of that. I totally agree with you - WHY??? My DH said it was because he didn't want to get anything in his hair.

whgrn, I was thinking if Bopsmom makes the poster like she suggested, you could take the poster with you and D&D and I could take the individual tkers. If the poster isn't too big, it might be easier for one person to handle.
