I've done Disney in August and thought it wasn't bad.

Pepper, what kind of TS meals are you looking for?

I dunno, probably either Italian or American. Part of the problem is we can;t decide. Here is what we have so far:

T-Rex OOP lunch on the 18th
1900 Park Fare Breakfast
Chef's
Cape may Clam Bake
Big River (Do we not need to reserve that?)

So I guess I am down to 1...We were thinking maybe Tony's? I dunno

I have exciting news...I had dinner with friends. We took my friend who had the stroke out. She was to work at HP for the photography people. They said they would find something for her to do until her vision clears as long as she could get a ride. Her granddaughter also works there--different boss. They said they could coordinate their schedules. That is an answer to prayer! She sauid to tell everyone thanks for praying and don't stop!

pepper, we are there until the 20th. I've heard Tony's is suppose to be good. Plus I like the little Lady and the Tramp theme they have going on.

Hey everyone just checkin in with an update!!!

Everything is going relatively well with my braces. My top row of teeth feel just fine but its the bottom row that is giving me the most hell. On top of that I have a pokey wire on my top row that wax isn't soothing so I just may have to call the office in the morning. Unfortunately, for the initial time, I don't have any colors yet but I can't wait til I get them!!! Surprisingly, Ramen went great and so did chicken alfredo ( had the pasta and worked my way around the chicken), Just hoping this discomfort gets better soon!!

Good Morning!!! It is 76* at 8:30 in the morning!

DH didn't get home until 9:30 last night. It was one of those days where if it could go wrong, it did. Thankfully, it's a holiday weekend so he should get 2 days off in a row. And we still didn't meet with MIL and FIL. Maybe tonight.

Morning...checking in also. Already 70s, going up to 80s. Summer really came with a bang! Its going to be a good holiday weekend too....except for all the tourists who can't drive on our country roads!

Pepper...did you make any ADRs last night? I don't even know where Tonys is...but I'd love to hear what you think of it! All your ADRs so far are places I haven't eaten at, so it'll be good to hear what you think of them.

JO...its supposed to be a 3 day weekend for DH!

We are suppose to get thunderstorms late today and things will be cooling off.

MK, Tony's is in the Magic Kingdom, right on Main Street I think.

A 3 day weekend would be nice but it's the busy time of the year. In his line of work, you take what you can when you can get it. I'm just hoping that when his boss sees how many hours he's worked so far this week, he will say to take the weekend off.

I'm dripping wet...just watered the bushes. I had a call from the wife of the guy who does my yard, reminding me I must water them! They are friends so it was OK! I tried taking the hose out and it does reach good enough. My problem is rewinding it! That's how I got so hot. My connection in the garage drips too...maybe he can fix it...

It's only 78 now! But as JO said---calling for possible tstorms this pm! If it cools it off, I'm ok with that. Mom broke diown and put on her ac. she lives in a 3 story townhouse in the city and her bedrooms get very warm so I thanked her!

I like summer Pepper but not this hot and humid! I guess it's the wasted elevtricity for the ac I resent more! Higher bills are not needed. At least Patrick's nourishment has gone down to 2.63 a gallon.

Kitty---a friend told me our store has cute little watermelons for 3.99...maybe a cousin to yours? I think I must have one. I'll try and not make eye contact so I won't feel guilty cutting that little guy apart!

My boyfriend watermelon is nearly finished. We had a good affair. whole watermelons are on sale here too, i'm going to get another one later today. its not cheating, they're fulfilling their life's calling....

Yes M...there was some drinking man in your siggie earlier this morning, but he was cut off a bit so I had no idea what is going on...

my affair of the watermelon continues! Yum. there were some cherries at the grocer too, but its crazy expensive. settled for some grapes.

its gotten dark and ominous here too. we're under severe storm watch until 9pm. I hope we don't get some of that hail that Denver got yesterday--baseball sized and over six inches of it!

Did anyone see the story of the lady who fell asleep on the plane and was left behind only to be found 4 hours later by the cleaning crew? She was flying from DC to Philly. I've been on those little flights and the only way she slept like that was if she was under the influence of something...those planes are small and loud! Of course, she's suing for emotional damages. She should be sued for being an idiot. If you slept and were left behind, sorry. You're a grown up. get out the cell phone and call for help. really now!

I saw the drinking man this morning too. I got all excited and thought we were playing "change your siggie" again.

MK, how long is even one of those flights that she could have supposedly fallen asleep that deeply?

It must have been about 30 minutes, tops, considering that you can drive from DC to Philly in about 90 minutes (well, if I'm driving, anyway). I would venture to guess that the staff tried to wake her up and couldn't, but they should have called EMS or something. She could have stolen the plane!

Ok...so I checked. Its a little under an hour. Still....

I knew it couldn't have been too long of a flight. What did the airline say about it? It sounds like there should be more to the story.

I haven't touched my siggie...You mean I had a little man in my siggie??? Good thing I don't have a bf...he might get jealous!!! Are you sure you guys weren't drinking? Maybe it was the watermelon affecting your eyes??? But then JO claims to be seeing little men too???

I'm waiting for those little blueberries to get ripe...when is that? I thought the end of June? I finished my frozen ones from last year. Grapes aren't that cheap here. I could go for cherries too. (Although I prefer mine chocolate covered!)

It takes me 2 hrs from here to dc...I would have thought I was closer to dc than Philly??? But then---different driver??

I guess we need to figure out how to make some easy money by sleeping...How could they not see her in a little plane?

All United has said so far is that they're investigating. I bet they're secretly rolling their eyes and calling this woman and the staff that left her there an idiot. Its probably too late to do a drug screening test if this happened on Tuesday morning...
