I am to blame for the birthday cake photo of her THIS TIME with the big smile on her face. She always flashes me a fake smile so I told her I'd have none of those... to just wait and I would think of something that would make her smile. So.... I told her to imagine her brother running through the house in his underwear. That's how she ended up with the goofy smile. Worked like a charm!

When we went to Vegas several years ago there were a few prostitutes wandering the streets but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that it was more family friendly than I imagined. Maybe I'm just naive and didn't notice more that was going on? That's always a possibility. I tend to get lost in my own little space.

I was in Vegas years and years ago and they did pass out porn pamphlets, but only at night...in comparison to what some of the people were wearing, it didn't bother us at all! Some people are downright obscene in their outfits!

Yes, I'm bringing the antacids. And I"m bringing Sudafed for the flight. Seems the intense eye pain I experience on smaller planes is not my brain, its my sinuses. The JetBlue flight attendant told me about it, and it worked on my trip back up. Any other supplies I should pack for us?

We're going to need a car for Florida. At this late date, I think I'm going to have to wait for the last minute deals to come up. I'll be bringing my netbook with me, so I could get some work done by the pool...

re the Vegas porn leaflets- I do believe they just hand them out to adult looking people (and that's usually mostly men). Just walk by and don't look I 've never noticed prostitutes but then unless they solicit me I probably wouldn't. I'm in my own little world most of the time anyway.

Stopped by the bookstore for reading material. Discovered the Unofficial Guide to WDW in color (had color pictures - Wow ) I opened the book to discover a "new" resort the 7 Dwarfs Cavern Resort, until I got to the part about the canaries in the tunnels, I almost fell for it.

MK, it's getting close to temps hot enough for shorts. I have a very high tolerance for heat. My dad does too. I don't think I've seen him in shorts in years.

DL55, the Unofficial Guide is in color now? I haven't picked up a guide book in years. I use to get them every year and read them for fun.

Marie- We got Southwest for 109 nonstop. I was kicking myself because a week ago the same ticket was 89. I just took too long to plan I guess. Loved the zoo pics! I love zoos. Our zoo here is just sad.

MK- Did your trip work out? I swear you are the luckiest person when it comes to travel deals!

DD- How are you feeling? Are the pills helping?

lilmis- My DD got her braces a couple of months ago. The first couple of days she was miserable, but now she said she cant tell the difference. What color bands did you get?

I have exciting news...I had dinner with friends. We took my friend who had the stroke out. She was to work at HP for the photography people. They said they would find something for her to do until her vision clears as long as she could get a ride. Her granddaughter also works there--different boss. They said they could coordinate their schedules. That is an answer to prayer! She sauid to tell everyone thanks for praying and don't stop!
