Thanks everyone. Sorry to ruin the Christmas spirit. Just was so upset this afternoon. Just needed to vent and cry a little.
It's strange because growing up, my parents were VERY concerned w/ treating each of us equally - down to the penny at Christmas time even. But as my mom is getting older, I think she's forgetting. Plus, I've learned something by having a DS with issues... The therapist told us that treating every child the same is not what is equal. Giving each child what they NEED and making them feel special is what is "equal" (if that makes sense)
DS12 has his band concert tomorrow and I think he's really nervous about it. Usually he looks forward to this because he gets to play the big bass drum. But this time he is dreading it. Not sure what happened.
DL55 - Yes, you do need that camping ticker soon!!!
And, like M&N, I love to send cards and talk on the phone. I'm old fashioned that way. I like the personal side to it all. Please don't feel like you have to do anything.
Kitty - I'm hoping you win big in AC.

That's huge for him. He also moved up a reading level and is finally taking spelling tests sucessfully.
