Afternoon! After much roundabout debate with myself, I decided to get an e-reader. I could use credit card points to get it. When I finally call to redeem it, there's a system update and I can't get it! Is it a sign?

I decided to go Kindle coz the bundle includes an extended warranty and a leather case.

LITC...I right click on the picture then copy to my picture file. THen I upload it to photobucket and bring it back to my user signature. For some reason, when I right click I can't directly paste. YOu want me to just send it to you?

So lighttech turned me on to some Hello Kitty jewelry on QVC. I plan to do some heavy hinting to the BF later. He's always complaining I have everything or I get it for myself. I'll give him first opportunity. Or else I'm going for it!

Thanks for trying to send the mickey to me, that didn't work either, and I could not do it Pikes way. I will try this way that you wrote out, but will probably do it tomorrow.

We just got back from the ER after a pretty long day. Walter got really sick really fast. It seemed though he wasn;t getting enough air. His color was off and his breathing was very labored. And he was coughing and weezing alot. So we took him in and he has an asthma flare up and beginnings of pneumonia. So we got a few Rx's and are luck to be back home. They almost admitted him. So hopefully he improves really well over the next day or so, or we are supposed to bring him right back.

Goodness! How scary! Hope the little guy gets better really quick. I know its going to be a long night for you LITC. Try to get some sleep, but keep an ear on his breathing. Hugs and prayers for all of you.

Thanks Kitty. It was really scary. He got sick SO fast, and he could barely move. Poor baby. But right now (he is coughing) but he is also on the floor playing with some of his birthday presents.....

Baby coughing just breaks my heart. But if he's feeling well enough to play, that's a good sign!

It is! I just really really really hope he keeps improving. DH should really go to work tomorrow, unless absolutely necessary.We can't both afford to take off.

That is just a heartbreaking thing to do. Just promise DH to text often and keep him updated on how much Walter is improving.

Oh LITC, I'm so sorry Walter is sick. I always had such a hard time when mine were little and sick. At those times, I just wished I could snap my fingers and make it all go away for them. I wish I could do it for Walter now.

Wanting to play is always a good sign. I still use it now to judge how sick the kids are.

I love it! It looks great.

My mom had her hair cut similarly when she was first diagnosed. But back then, she also had waist length hair and just didn't want to deal with everything.

It's kinda strange to have it so short but Hale really got upset when I said shave it off. She burst into tears and begged me to just cut it so I "didn't look sick" She seems ok but was very upset tonight and demanded that she go to my chemo tomorrow. We talked and she's ok now.

When I used to take my Dad to dialysis, it would upset me greatly. I would cry leaving the parking lot. I still tear up when I think about it. Its just the feeling of helplessness and wanting to make things better.

I know what you mean. I told her that I have to do what I have to do and she has to do what she has to do. If I know that she is OK then I will be OK. She got that.

BTW- some BIT@#$ Mother out here told Haley I was Stage 4 and where the cancer has gone ( I didn't tell her) she was pi$$ed that it was that serious and we didn't tell her. I could actually kick someones butt right now.

Its a hard lesson to learn. I think I have guilt everyday that I wasn't the one to donate my kidney to Dad. My younger sister was the better candidate, but as the older sister, I felt like I should have been the one.

And tell Hale its ok to cry and be mad. There's an entire process to accepting a difficult situation. Most important, you're family and together as a family you'll deal and fight this.
