No, I just considered the source. He always was a terrible person (and so is his wife) They just think that if I'm "outta the way" they stand to inherit more.
I now don't have to "play nice" for the sake of family harmony any more . The family has seen their true colors.....actually it's a relief.

I will say in times of crisis, people really do show their true colors. I was able to weed out some terrible people in my life when I was dealing with Dad's illness. It is a relief. You throw the trash out and life gets really real.

We just got back from the ER after a pretty long day. Walter got really sick really fast. It seemed though he wasn;t getting enough air. His color was off and his breathing was very labored. And he was coughing and weezing alot. So we took him in and he has an asthma flare up and beginnings of pneumonia. So we got a few Rx's and are luck to be back home. They almost admitted him. So hopefully he improves really well over the next day or so, or we are supposed to bring him right back.

Poor Walter. I hope he's feeling better today.

Afternoon! After much roundabout debate with myself, I decided to get an e-reader. I could use credit card points to get it. When I finally call to redeem it, there's a system update and I can't get it! Is it a sign?

I decided to go Kindle coz the bundle includes an extended warranty and a leather case.

hee hee...cute joke Pike! HOw was MOm's cake? It sounded delish.

The cake was very yummy. I had another piece on Sunday and it was still good!

BTW- some BIT@#$ Mother out here told Haley I was Stage 4 and where the cancer has gone ( I didn't tell her) she was pi$$ed that it was that serious and we didn't tell her. I could actually kick someones butt right now.

What a *******!

Its a hard lesson to learn. I think I have guilt everyday that I wasn't the one to donate my kidney to Dad. My younger sister was the better candidate, but as the older sister, I felt like I should have been the one.

And tell Hale its ok to cry and be mad. There's an entire process to accepting a difficult situation. Most important, you're family and together as a family you'll deal and fight this.

You are a good sibling and a good daughter. I believe that you were needed in a different way.

JO-- thanks, and I am SO glad he appears to be getting better. I was a little worried when he woke up today and was drinking his morning bottle. But now he is crawling around, chewing on his nebulizer mask and fighting me with all heck every time I try to clean his nose up.

*So sorry also about the idiot brother. Sounds like my half sister (well sorta, she would act concerned to my face and wish for me to not get better behind my back) Again some people are SUCH a******s.

Kitty - OMG, do not feel bad about your dad. Be happy knowing that a even more kidney was found for him so he has a better chance at his full life!

Just wanted to share some info I discovered on the Disney Cruise board. If you have Netflix you can get your Disney fix by typing Disney in the search box. What will come up are many of the documentary type shows about the Disney Parks and Cruise line that you would find on the Travel Channel. The dates listed on them are 2010 but not sure if that means they are new or if that was when they were available on DVD. I checked out a few that were instant play but I can't remember if all of them are or not.
