D&DDisney At least we got to talk to each other.

DH is playing in golf tournament. When he gets home we have to go to the first home game of the season. We just hope we don't lose 72 - 0 like UNM did last week. DH is always optimistic that we'll win a game.

Well I'm leaving tomorrow to visit family and just discovered my mom is moving next week! I'm supposed to call her when we get to Sparks for directions. Sometimes I think she's trying to tell me something.

JO--did you decide on a hair color/costume yet? Are the little ones still excited about school or did that rub off? How are your guests?

I can't remember anything else, but hugs everyone! It got cold here too, autumn is definitely here. Been rainy too, made the drive home that much more miserable. But still glad I went. I'll have to upload some funny pics of our silly adventures. Let me just tease you with a little recap: alcohol, delayed planes, Niagara Falls, alcohol, drag show, wine tastings, Sesame Street, alcohol...hmm, wonder why I"m so tired?

same day, different times though! They have a LOT of liquor superstores out there. I've never had to use a shopping cart in one before. My group really love the drink.

We went to the New York Wine and Culinary Center yesterday. We had such a fantastic lunch outside with a beautiful view of the Finger lakes. My group "sampled" for four hours--then we had wings and nachos and margaritas. We were joking that instead of their bodies being 80% water, it was more like 80% proof!

You are so right. I wish I could have gotten some more rest in there,but Walter just would not have it.

Walter is great,recently diagnosed with Asthma and put on a medicine to try and keep the flare ups under control. It does seem like he is improcing, so I hope it is the meds working.

I hope you can come around some more, we miss our TKers around here when they can't stop by.

That sounds like a great time.

We adopted a cat....or she adopted us. She's been roaming around the neighborhood for a while and we started to leave food out for her. Today, Curt opened the back door to go get her something to eat and she ran in. She ate lunch and then plopped herself down on the couch.

congrats on the new addition JO! That's pretty much how I got my kids. They chose me, so I figured they knew what they were getting into.

Glad to hear Walter's meds are working, LITC, but I'm sad to think of our darling boy having some breathing problems. Did you have a smash cake today?

HAHA, well I guess I sorta did. My MIL made me a cake,which was a surprise and when my mom was holding Walter, he kinda "smashed" it just a little. But he got upset again that his hands were dirty.

I hate his breathing issues also. It really scares me, I know how bad asthma can get and I know I am going to worry about him even more now.

LITC, I think you should have smashed the cake. Glad the meds are working for Walter. I can't imagine how scary it must be when he has a flair up. Poor little guy.

MK, I think she was someone's cat at one point. She is declawed. But she has no collar and she is very, very thin. She's really tame too. We'll see what happens.
