He's still improving, got a bit of a ways to go yet. But I am hoping that the singulair the doc gave him helps him to not have these flare ups anymore.

Although I am worried about him this weekend, he has to have a flu shot on Thursday, so we will see if that makes him "sick" or not.

I guess with his breathing problems, getting the flu shot is especially important. Do they give it through the nose for kids? I read they were doing it that way for something.

The doc only said "flu shot"so I am guessing that is the way he will get it, probably can't be sure at his age that he would inhale it.

And yes he pretty much needs it because of the breathing problems and because he was a premie.

The older ones see how it is. But they know better than to roll their eyes to anyone but us. They do know if they are annoyed, they can come and complain to us.

LITC, does he have to take the Singulair everyday? My kids don't have asthma or allergies so I have no idea how it works.

Jo -- yes he takes it everyday. Being so young it comes in a granule packet, that you can just mix into a bottle or his food, and it has no flavor so he doesn't even know it is there. But it is worth it,especially if it keeps him off of the breathing treatments, which he really doesn't like getting, can't blame him. Holding him down and putting a loud machine that spits out smoke over his face. Poor guy.

I remember doing the breathing treatments with Alexis. It was so hard and I just felt so bad for her.

I hope the meds work for him.

My laundry went up on the lin outside and promptly was rained on. They'll suffer out there overnight and I"ll just rewash and dry them tomorrow. I have to vote tomorrow too!

That's a bummer. I love laundry hung on the line outside.

Since I'm on the roll with talking about pics, I took some pics of the beautiful double rainbow we had this evening. I was a couple of minutes down the road from my house taking my walk when I heard it; rumbles of thunder! I booked butt back home and was very thankful that I didn't have to watch the show up close and personal. Can't post the pics though because DH is cleaning up the computer. He purchased an external hard drive and has been trasfering files to it. So glad that he knows what he is doing.

Love looking at rainbows. Glad you got home in time.

Off to watch America's got talent.

I did catch a little of that show tonight. Saw the Defying Gravity group and they were REALLY GOOD.

M&N, it can be a helpless feeling sometimes but then others, your instinct just kicks in.

I just don't have those mothering genes I guess. I'm more of a play with but give the sick ones back! I did change dirty diapers but thankfully had no sickies when I watched the kids.
