Have you seen that toilet paper commercial where the hubby is asking the wife for toilet paper because they are out? He's standing in the hallway outside the bathroom and the first roll she throws him is so rough it shaves the hair right off the side of his head. They move on to another day where they go through the same thing but this time the roll is so soft that if makes a big puff on his chest when he catches it and blows up into his face. The third time he's really skittish about catching the roll of TP but it's a just right brand so everything is good.

sshh...its Charmin. I got six rolls of it to try out. They send me an email questionnaire on strength, softness, durability, if it left any straggler paper bits behind. You'd be amazed how detailed the follow-up is. Sometimes they ask about trade names or slogans.

I'm always so proud when a product that I gave input on appears on the shelf! Even if it is TP! Its something we all use and need and are quite grateful for!

Dad needs to get medical clearance before he can have surgery. He's had two heart attacks in the past, is on immunosuppressants for the kidney and has diabetes. He's not the best candidate for anything. But if he does have to have a procedure done, I'm glad its for cataracts and not something else.

oh, and actually eyebrow threading is an ancient practice. way before tweezers and waxing! get ready for this. the Threader takes a long piece of thread and wraps it around her fingers. She then winds the hairs in the thread and then rolls it. It takes the hair out by the roots so it lasts longer and to me, it looks cleaner. its really precise and costs just as much as a wax job. It didn't hurt as much either.

You just never know what you will learn here! That's cool Kitty. About the tp---I like the quilted kind...don't need as many squares. Is it a new kind? How about the commercial where the baby bear has little pieces of lint from the tp on his butt...

The trial toilet paper is not quilted but it is very soft and fluffy. Haven't used it yet...I like to start my trial fresh in the mornings. And not having bits leftover is very important so I'll be looking out for that!

I like those toilet paper bears.

JO---you don't realize the important of toilet paper until its gone. Public restrooms in the Phils don't have toilet paper. YOu have to bring your own. I learned that one the hard way.

Do you have to use a mirror for that one?
I hope your dad gets medical clearance and gets the surgery. I've known a few people who had it done and were so happy to be able to see things again.

Same thing in Bulgaria. I had to bring my own roll with me. Thank God someone clued me into this before we got there.

TP was the subject of cultural shock when I went to Europe in the 70's. One place it was almost like wax paper...what good would that do???

When I stayed in France, we were expected to use the bidet and not toilet paper. I thought I misunderstood when it was first explained to me. I never got used to it and frankly, it was really not that refreshing. I'll say it. I love toilet paper!
