Hello! We are finally back from our weekend away. It was hot, hot, hot. But it was so much fun even with the unbearable heat.

Took us over 12 hours to get home because the one highway was shut down completely for a fatal accident. And then Curt had to get up a couple of hours later for work.

I didn't get to take pictures with the flats. It was just way too hectic. And did I mention hot?

Wait, I did get to take one flat tker picture. Just for M&N. And I was nice about it. Really I was.

He had the baby curse so he didn't do too well. However his fantasy picks this week were pretty good and he was happy that he's ahead of mom now.

Oh, and I heard him and Livvie talking how they will "never forget this day for the rest of their life". Too cute! They had a blast.

I am just waiting to hear all the changes in racing for next year! Kasey will be for Red Bull I think next year. It sounded like NASCAR would not allow Hendricks to be involved with the team he would race for because of the 4 car rule but don't they make engines for other teams? I didn't get it.

I've been trying to read up on all the changes. Doesn't Red Bull run Toyotas? Is it NASCAR that won't let Hendrick be involved with Kasey's team or Chevy? Maybe NASCAR won't let Hendrick employees be involved with that team that way they don't get a jump start on working together before he is "officially" a Hendrick driver?

Looks like they are changing the schedule around again too.

Those new Nationwide cars are awesome. I love that you can easily tell them apart.

Yeah, just about any lower team will take Menard. Guy comes with his own permanent sponsor.

I looked at them quick. Should have stayed away from Jeffie.

I'll have to look more into the Kasey deal and see what I can find. But I could picture both Chevy and Nascar saying no.
