Good morning! Hey M....you doing ok? Enjoy Despicable me. The promos for it were so funny.

Sorry, I was in the other room clipping my coupons...I get lost when doing that!

Its finally sunny here! Washing the bed linens and towels today. Exciting, I know.

Hello and hugs to everyone!

Good Morning!
I see M&N has been doing her best to keep the thread alive. Or up her post count while I was gone.

Oh boy ...pics of Walter. I hope I got the email link too. Haven't had a chance to check. :yay: If not, LITC please send it to me too.

We had a great weekend and the racing party was fun - albeit VERY HOT

Kids melted down and we all drank a ton to try and stay cool. However it still was great to spend time with friends. :thumbsup2

Hi Sukie!
5.gif
Nice to see you here again. Hope you have a nice vacation week.

Well the heat and humidity is finally gone for a few days and the weather is PERFECT!!! Sunny, breezy and temps in the upper 70s. :thumbsup2 going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Hi All,

Didn't get a chance to back track and read but I see M&N was having a nice coversation with herself:rotfl2:.

Been on here more than I have in months but I've been spending my time on the rent/trade board or getting back to people via PM's.

Did rent 80+ of my DVC pts:cool1: still have the reservation pts:confused3.
They use more pts p/night depending on which resort you want and people just aren't use to that amount of pts.

It still comes out cheaper than the room p/night cost, but I think most who go on the rent/trade board are looking for DVC vacation villas vs hotel resorts:scared1:.

It is hot and humid once again. Brown is the new green in lawns;).

Hey disney54us...nice to see you around! Glad to hear that the entire points thing is working out for you. You'll have to explain it to me sometime.

Its been a good day. First, no rain! So I was able to put my laundry out, though I ran out of room, so I must continue another day. Went to Staples---I still love getting school supplies. Its kinda hard to pass up their 1 cent deals! If I don't use them, I give them to the local school...they can always use more.

September is also the month for big fat fashion magazines! Two came in the mail today. I don't subscribe to Vogue, so I'll have to buy that one. Its wonderful!

Stopped by the Racino. They give me a $10 food credit every week, so I get two wraps. They've gotten mean though, they won't let me have it for take out. No problem really--I just bring my own ziplock bags! I put a sandwich in each, and I'm set for dinner! I also got my free play. I was pouting coz last week I didn't win. BF told me I was being silly, but I really took it personally! Well, I'm back! One spin, and $180! I was out of there. Not going to push my luck again....

I'm also excited coz Build-A-Bear is introducing new Sanrio plush this week. And I have coupons! Now I just have to decide which ones I'll get....I'm supposed to meet Wendy on Friday for lunch (take two!) so I'll be able to swing by the mall for my new fuzzy friends.

I'm really on a cleaning kick. Must be that time of year. Went through the deadly medicine cabinet and makeup drawer. Really, I should be absolutely radiant with all the products I have!

And I have three loaves of zucchini bread in the oven. A friend gave me a bucketful of fresh veggies from the garden. Does anyone know what to do with spaghetti squash?

Well I have to keep talking to someone around here...don't want the thread to get lost! Glad the DVC system is working out for you. Sounds like a lot of work though. I'm with you on the brown is the new green for lawns. I have some kind of grass that turns brown in the winter anyway...it's been pretty good this summer. But then he hasn't cut it very short and not even every week. He did take out the azelas that died...can get the money refunded at Lowes! 3 died and 3 lived. :confused3 But the pink ones lived and I like pink over the white ones!

You have just been a busy little beaver. And you must have hugged the right machine again! Way to go! I'm no cook...but I would guess you could make spaghetti sauce with the squash? :confused3

Hey M...how was the movie? How exactly do you return plants? Do you just have to keep the receipt? I'd love to get into flowers and plants, but I"m terrible with them. It may be a good thing to try if they're guaranteed.

It wasn't an individual machine so I couldn't hug it. I very nearly kissed it though, but I'd have to clean it first. I'd risk a little dirt for some more money.....

I just saw on the budget board that the My Twinn toddler dolls were on sale. I picked up one for Alicia. They're great coz they come in different shades of skin color and eye color--I got one that looks Asian-y!

Now for my day: First of all, my 2 friends lied to me! They had a surprise birthday lunch for me. We were going to Hershey but Devon's would not take a reservation for as many as we had so they had it here in Etown. I was so surprised. I thought the one friend was just messing us up...she's kind of that way. Makes plans but then may just change them. She told me she had a meeting with her principal at 11 so we would have to eat in Etown...then we could do a movie instead of HP. It was going to be too hot. That really didn't bother me...I didn't care what we did. So the other friend comes to my house and we chat. I said we were to be there around 12:30...she wasn't in any hurry. She gets a call from the other one who is waiting for us...she'll get us a table. There lots of cars there...I really didn't check them out. We go in and out the back to the deck...and there they were. I made 11! I was so surprised. There was several retired teachers, my friend Sharon who works in Hershey, the custodian from my one school took a half day off, and my 2 library aides. It was just so nice. The 3 of us didn't make the movie! So we went to a later one---Eat, Pray, Live. It wasn't that great of a movie but it was ok. It was just a great surprise. I told them I didn't suspect---I would have if they had it at the Olive Garden! That's where we usually take friends for their special days. One funny thing was that the balloons flew away right after I got there...they came unclipped I guess and just floated off---I said that's how the 60 years were...just floating off heavenward!

Oh, M, how lovely! What a wonderful day for you! Did I miss your birthday already? I want you to have the most wonderful, fun, love and laugh filled birthday ever! You have been such a wonderful friend, truly a gift to my life. Many more birthdays to come and celebrate! Hugs!

PS---I wasn't a fan of the book Eat, Pray, Love. I felt like I was betraying the Sisterhood, so many people said it resonated with them. It was fine enough, but not life-changing for me. I still would like to see it though, I like Julia Roberts.

I really do not know how to explain the movie. I do like Julia Roberts too...and the guys she has with her are not bad looking!!! I just didn't get all the finding yourself stuff I guess. I didn't like it when the Indian girl had to get married to please her family. I didn't read the book but will have to read the article I saw about how the book and movie are different.

My BIG 60 isn't until Friday...I'm putting it off as long as possible! :confused3

Hey kitty, well they would be working out better if they weren't going to go poof at the end of Sept.
Mmmm zucchini bread send me a recipe, please.
Go on Wegmans.com they were pushing spaghetti squash last winter. They had recipes in their Menu Mag.

pts. read above we will see.
I returned 5 azelas and 4 yews to Home Depot yesterday. They say they are covered the first year and usually I would have just let it go, but no I'm not throwing money away. They were tended to and watered and went in in early spring.
