Afternoon!
D&D:Thank you for asking about DH. He is doing fine so far. I'll have to see how he is doing once all the busy stuff for the funeral is done. We have our fingers crossed that "Earl" stays away for the burial and cookout. According to the recent weather report Earl should be out of here by 6AM on Saturday morning.
FIL was one very interesting man. He told my MIL that when he passed he wanted to be positioned in his casket so that his hand would be flipping the bird.

She told the funeral director that and he said that they couldn't do that because of how the body is after death. So, instead, DH found a joke to have in the casket with FIL so that everyone would have one last laugh the way my FIL wanted them to.
Here is the joke:
When I was younger I hated going to weddings. It seemed that all of my aunts and the grandmotherly types used to come up to me, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, 'You're next.'
They stopped that **** after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.
To you Jim (FIL), it's been a true honor to have known thee.
