Hello ladies!

D...glad to hear the wedding went well. And congrats to the boys on their rockin report cards! We're so proud of them, but we knew they could do it all along!d

And here's why they should do well in school. I went to the store to use my coupon (big shock, I know). I don't ordinarily go to this store, its out of my way. But their coupon is 85 cents for 2 liter bottle of soda. You can get up to 4 bottles.

So I check out and the cashier does scan my coupon. But my total comes up to $4.50. Hmmm...I know that's not right, so I point it out. He says, "well that's the way the coupon scans". I told him to look at it...even with deposit, the 4 bottle pre-tax is not $4.50. Anyway, after much to-do, they finally agree that I'm right.

It may seem insignificant for a dollar, but the way I look at it, if I were a dollar short in paying for the merchandise, they wouldn't have given it to me.

It looks like its going to snow out there, but its too warm, we're about 50 degrees. I have to start packing for my mini-getaway tomorrow. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to dress the part and pull out my nasty wear. It is the Jersey shore.

Had a decent weekend here. Went to that wedding and it wasn't as bad as I had thought. I'm sure it was because my sis was sitting at the wedding table so the mood of our table was so much lighter.
My DS12 caught the garter during the wedding dance. Should have seen him dive for it - like it was money or something. Not sure if I should be worried or proud.

Boys got their report cards and both had As & Bs. This is huge for DS12 who rarely (if ever) gets 1 A. I am so proud of them! Will have to do something special on Friday as they are off of school for Parent Teacher conferences.

Tell the boys "great job' from me. You'll have to tell us what you do with them. I believe and practise with Hale....If you get "A's" you get to have an "A" Lifestyle, get "B's" you get a "B" Lifestyle....etc,etc. because that's how it (should) be in life when you're older. So far, so good with that theory

I spent 8 hours at MDA today. They blew out more veins-they have just collapsed. I can't believe I'm thinking this but, I will be glad to go get that @#(%# port put in.
I found out I get WiFi during chemo-but can't shop online (protected system). Since my Dr. said I will be getting Chemo for the rest of my life I figured I'd have a set time to chat with ya'll. I do it Monday morning first thing. You'd think it'd make me dread Mondays but I don't. I know that this is what I have to do, so no since B@tch^n' about it.
I put a song on FB http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k-0rskSk_c&feature=share I know it's originally written about Katrina but, since I've lived on the Gulf all my life the analogy of "hurricane" could mean other 'storms' we have to weather in our lives. Hope you listen to it and like it.

I love Jimmy Buffet (and Disney)...Even My prius(the silver bullet) shows that. It has a WWJBD sticker, a silver Mickey and a Mickey bar(with a bite taken out) antenna decoration. I also have my NWF sticker but, ya'll know I'm a tree-hugger.

Hey Bopsmom! You have the most amazing, positive outlook re: chemo. That is so important and I'm thrilled to hear that you''re going to put your treatment time to good use with us!

Well, I'm very overpacked for my two day jaunt to AC. But you just never know what will happen! I'm thinking of going to the Melting Pot on Wednesday night...they're having a Ladies Night in--food with massages and manicures! Edward will be with us, I'm trying to decide if I can leave him on the gaming floor or just bring him with us.

Its supposed to be rainy tomorrow for my drive. Phooey.

I forgot to say that the mystery shopping company called me today. I thought I was in trouble. But they were offering me another assignment on Friday at the grocery store. I'm supposed to check out the bakery and meat departments, spend $15 dollars and evaluate the store. In return, they're reimburse me me for the $15 and give me $10 for completing it. Pretty sweet!

I'm also assigned a McDonalds trip. Have to do drive thru and in-store purchase, which again will be reimbursed to me plus another $15. This is turning into a really sweet gig of mine--I just have to remember to at least get a salad with my study or else I'm going to be in trouble....

Evening! I have a little bit of good news to share.....for once. We are thinking about renting DVC for our next trip. I was looking at the pictures one night and Curt remarked how he would love to stay in something like that. That just got me thinking and pricing some things out. Turns out for 8 of us, it really isn't much more total to rent a 2 bedroom villa. And having a washer/dryer and kitchen would really come in handy.

MK, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to BF. I hope you win big down in AC. And totally take Edward with you for the massages.....I bet it would be blast with him along.

Holly, a Monday morning chat date here. Guess I'll have to keep my butt up after the kids go to school. I'll bring coffee and tea but someone better pick up some donuts.

Gotta run, I was putting my coat on this morning and felt a sharp pain run from my neck into shoulder into back and now my neck/shoulder is in pain and stiff. Going to try to put the heating pad on it. tried ice which is what everyone was telling me, and know what? It didn't help at all. So I am going back to heat.

Got my new computer today so have been wasting most of the afternoon playing. Really have to get my butt in gear...we are off to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls tomorrow and I still have to pack. DH just got home from work and I'm sure he'll want a turn on my new toy.

Been trying to scan the Black Friday ads in my spare time to plan an attack for next week. So far no great advertised deals. Target has some that start on Sun. so I will have to look more into that.

Gray, dreary, cold day here. A bowl of soup or stew would make for some nice comfort food right now.

Good morning ladies! I have returned from a wonderful jaunt to AC. I'm definitely poorer--I didn't hit the jackpot, but I did have a wonderful time with friends. The weather cooperated for the most part, we had some good deals at the outlets and we ate really well! I'll have to post some pics later, but I can't find my camera....I think I left it in the car last night. I was so tired when I got back!

I have a few mystery shopping assignments this morning so I'm going to go out and get those done....be back later!

Had a great flight back---as great as a coming home flight can be! I'm at my house for a few minutes and had to check in. I'll be back Sun pm. I had to run in to see the librarian that I am subbing for on Mon and Tue.
