Trattoria al Forno was open for a month before they listed it and remove Kouzzina (which had been closed for months) from the website. I bet we'll quicker reports here, but it's better to look for them than to ask for them. I'm certain it will be reported as soon as someone discovers.
THIS -and I would be remiss to not say: if you QUALIFY for TIW? PLEASE get it... There is a significant reason why many non-Disney owned fine-dining restaurants take THIS, and reject DDP.... TIW does not "force clip" their menu offerings. TIW is PERCENTAGE based, and allows a fine dining restaurant to BE a fine dining restaurant.
1) Well put.
2) Lots of us are tired of lowered quality and/or lowered creativity due to reimbursement amounts of DDP.
3) When chefs MUST stay within smaller price-point, things suffer.
4) And, with DDP, it is the guest who suffers.
NOTE: I can remember when eating at even non-Signature WDW restaurants were not only a pleasure, but an adventure. Then, DDP came on board. In the early days, you could still score a great meal, by applying DDP coupons and adding a surcharge. (Example: DDP + $5.00). Now, people want all the convenience of ordering and not paying additional; now, there are only a few eateries that have a surcharge for upgraded menu items. As the famous cartoon character, POGO, has said, "We have found the enemy, and it is us."
