Has anyone had experience with purchasing the DDP when they also had a TIW card? We are thinking we may not do as many sit down restaurants this trip with our toddler, so the DDP may be a value...

Purchasing DDP is tied into your resort reservations, not dining. Tables in Wonderland is not a factor. DDP is considered a room package with a dining add-on.

I have both for my upcoming trip. I'll TIW when I can't use the plan, and for appetizers and drinks. I enjoy having both, and TIW ends up paying for itself.

I will have DDP next trip and already have TIW. Are you saying that I can "pay" for my meal with DDP and also use the TIW for appetizers and alcohol drinks ?

Anything that's not included on the plan, and is eligble for the TIW discount you're able to use it on. I would mention it though at the begining of the meal, a server once had difficulty doing it with a meal once because it needed it's own sperate check he said.
