TIW purchase

I had this years ago when I had a AP and I remember picking this up at Guest Services in DTD. This year I am staying at BLT and didn't want to leave the resort the first day and dine there but wanted to use it.

What's the best way to get this in advance and can I purchase with a Disney gift card?

You can walk over to guest services at MK & pick one up there. TIW cards can only be purchased at guest services at a park or DTD.

Edit: Yes, you can purchase with a gift card.

FL Residents and Annual Passholders can mail order the TiW card. The card would be valid as soon as they issue the card prior to it going in the mail. Mail order does not accept Disney Gift Cards.

All of those eligible to purchase a TiW card (FL Residents, AP holders & DVC Members) can purchase the TiW card at any Guest Relations location. There are Guest Relations locations at all Theme Parks and Downtown Disney. Guest Relations will accept Disney Gift Cards as payment.

From BLT, you would walk over to the Guest Relations location at the Magic Kingdom and purchase the TiW card there.

Its an easy walk. I left DH in the room and I walked over to the MK guest services window which is outside the park, showed my AP and ID and purchased the TIW card so I could use it at the Contemporary that same evening.

We did this a few weeks ago when staying at BLT. It's a real easy walk. We walked to MK, waited in the bag check line, got our TIW at Guest Svcs, took a few pics and walked back in less than 30 minutes.

So just double checking, DVC members can't order the TIW card mailed to our home? Or have it waiting at the front desk of our resort for us?
I ask because we're planning on staying at an airport hotel the previous night, then taking ME in the morning down to check in at BLT and would like to have my TIW card before my Tusker House ADR at 10a on day of arrival. Would that be possible if we wake up/are at the airport by 8a? Also considering staying at AKV the night before instead of airport, so would it be possible to pick it up at AK?

Thanks for the quick response! Good to know. That may dissuade me from getting one at all since that first meal would be what would push us over the "breaking even" point if I've done my math right. Might just be too inconvenient to get before breakfast.

On your way into AK for the ADR, stop at AK Guest Relations and buy one. Could hardly be easier or convenient.

If we check in at BCV and go directly to Epcot, is there a Guest Relations location at the World Showcase entrance or do we have to go to the main entrance?

There are Guest Relations locations at all Theme Park entrances. At the International Gateway, it's the window to the far left.
