TIW - how many cards?

How many TIW cards can you purchase and what is the price per card?

My mom has an AP and wondered if she could get one for her and one for my family as well to use when we travel.

You get one. You can get a 2nd one at a reduced price for your spouse.

They randomly ask for ID verification when using to make sure people are not "sharing" these cards.

I thought you only needed one TiW card and it covered a certain amount of people that you're dining with...I thought I read 6? I was thinking of buying one, but I didn't know my DH would need one too!

1 card per AP that CANNOT be transferred or shared. it is good for up to ten guests including the owner.

a second one can be purchased for a SPOUSE only

they can and often do ask for ID

Your DH doesn't "need" one too.
Your TiW card is good for a meal that includes up to and including 10 diners, at the same meal.
If you and DH dine at different locations at the same time, you would need to purchase the spouse card, which for an AP holder is an extra $50.
So then, he could have a TS lunch in an Epcot restaurant, while you have a TS lunch at the MK.

A couple weeks ago I got mine $75 and one for DS $50. If the 2nd person has the same address you can get one for them. DS goes at least one trip w/o us so it is worth it for us.
