TiW and DDP

Quick question, I have searched and searched but can not find the answer.

We are a party of 10. 2 people will be getting the DDP and will not have the TiW card.

Can we, get 2 separate checks? 1 check for the 2 on the DDP to include their alcohol and appetizers (would not use TiW card); and 1 check for everyone else who would use the TiW card?

I could be wrong, but I think you can go further and include that couple's non-DDP items on the TiW check if you wish.

Yes. Just let the server know which two people will be using the DDP and they will make two separate checks.

You could also add the appetizers and alcohol for the DDP users onto the TIW bill.

Thank you...I know we could add them to the TiW bill but we are trying to make it easy when the check comes as far as the tax and tip, so we wondered if separate checks would work.
