Title Company July 2023?

Really regretting using magicvacationtitle.com right now. They are taking forever to close. When I tried to follow up yesterday was told 30 business days because they are just so busy…
Too busy to enter data into maybe a half-dozen fields in SoftPro, SkySlope, Zoho, Qualia, or whatever software suite they are using, and hitting the enter key...

I seem to have gotten more addonitis, and I'm putting in an offer. Are we using Cammy's new company now? Or still Mason?
So you finally relented and are buying Aulani! Aloha! Congrats! Assuming, alas, that there’s a good chance I’m incorrect, what resort are you buying? I’m guessing more VGF.

I am using https://www.dvcclosings.com/ for my latest BRV contract. I can't comment beyond that as it is my first time using them, but I will say this: they offer remote notary, and I received an email about 2 hours after getting my notice that I cleared ROFR, requesting that I set up an appointment (after opting-in) to get the closing documents signed either tomorrow or Thursday.

The fact that they offer remote notary services is a game-changer for me (Disney offers it and I can't understand why other brokers don't do it as I'd happily pay a premium for the service). The added fact that the docs will be ready no later than Thursday morning (my appointment is at 8:00 am Pacific Time), and possibly tomorrow is even better. I've also already sent them a copy of my DL for identity verification, so I'm good to go.

My contract went through Mason right after Cammy left, although we didn’t know at the time that she was leaving, or that she started her own company.

My experience with Mason was slow. Offer made & accepted on 4/24. Passed ROFR on 5/26. Deed was recorded on 6/22. Overall 82 days from start to points in account. If I was buying another contract, I would request Cammy’s new company, DVC closings.
