I realize this may be a bit random, but the kids and I were blessed to attend the grand opening of the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge last week and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We all agreed that we would love to go back when there were not as many people so we could take our time through the ship. I know many of you camp in the PF, Sevierville, Gatlinburg area and IMO, it would be a great thing to add to your list of things to do next time you're here.

HOW THE H*LL DID THEY GET THE TITANIC SHIP TO PF ???????
I would LOVE to see that !!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning Olivia,,had to do that,:lmao:

That's wonderful, thanks for posting this! We will be spending Thanksgiving in Pigeon Forge for with our family of 27 :goodvibes and I bet alot of us would be interested in seeing this museum. How much time do you think you need to spend there to see most of it?

27-WOW! That sounds like fun!!

We were in the musuem for 3 hours and felt like we didn't really get to enjoy all that it had. However, it was not because we weren't in there long enough, it was because there were 24 bizillion other people in there with us. I would think 2-4 hours would be plenty of time as long as it's not over capacity. I have had an interest in the Titanic and her demise since I was in middle school and enjoy reading anything I can regarding it. I wanted to look at EVERY artifact and study it. That's impossible to do when someone is (literally) on the back of your shoes as a hint for you to move on.:rolleyes1 The employees were fabulous and had obviously done some studying of the ship, crew, and passengers. They were answering all kinds of questions and freely offering tidbits of information. I can't say enough good about it!

How wonderful for you, getting to see something you have always been fascinated by! :thumbsup2 Hope the crowd dies down by November when we go! Thanks for the info-:goodvibes
