Titanic exhibit is awesome!

The Titanic artifacts exhibit is here in Philly and I saw it this weekend. It is fantastic!

The personal artifacts give you the chills just looking at them! I can't believe they found so many things. Also , you are given a "boarding pass" with the ID and brief info of a real passenger. At the end of the exhibit, you look on a wall of names and you find out if they survived.
My passenger made it and lived to 90 years old!

Has anyone here seen it? I recommend it highly.

We saw it in Nashville a year or two ago and we loved it, very chilling!
My passenger didn't make it. DH was part of the crew and he didn't make it either.

We went two weeks ago. It was incredible. We felt it was very well done and we didn't feel that they dwelled on the death aspect as much as were afraid they might. We were afraid we'd come out of there feeling very sad, but we didn't. The artifacts were chilling, weren't they? The staircase room was beautiful. I'm glad we took the time to go.

I was suprised at how nice the menu and dishes were in 3rd class!


I got a 2nd class tea cup replica in the gift shop. very nice!

Marie and I saw it here in Chicago back about 3 years ago. Her passenger lived, mine did not. We always took that as a good sign for her health....not sure about mine, LOL. We thought it was great, very moving, sad, inspirational

GG I saw this at the Science museum in Baltimore. It is so good, isn't it? You really feel like you have gone down to the bottom of the sea to be on the forlorn ship.

My passenger was a "poor" crew member and didn't make it!

I have seen it in Boston and at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk CT. Awesome exhibit! I still have the card of my passenger on my desk. Her name was Frederick C. Quick (Jane Richards). I just looked up her information and she did survive. Everyone should see this exhibit.
