Has anyone exchange in the World Passport Colletion in Florida? We are tired of WDW but still like to vacation in Florida. Does anyone have experience in trading into another FL location like Key West, Sanibel?

Just curious if it is feasible or should I just rent my points and secure my own vacation (like you would have to to get a decent Hawaii location)

You might try Vero Beach. Since it is a DVC resort you will probably get better value for your points. We stayed there a couple years ago and thought it was a great beach resort to just kick back and relax.

VB will be the best use of your points and the easiest to schedule. There are many other choices though that would be great. Several Marriott's, Captiva/Sanibel, Key West and the like. What do you want and when do you wnat to go. Don't forget HH, Myrtle beach and the like.

I am using some points in May to stay at the Grand Californian in Disneyland, CA. It is a great vacation, and if you like WDW, you will enjoy visiting the original park. Plus, California Adventure has some really cool rides, too. I did a long weekend there in January and thought I would venture back without my cast on my leg now! :)

Tired of DW

LOL! Glad to see you clarified it in the text.....we don't help folks set up trips when they're tired of their spouses. ;)

That's what I thought to Pam. I'm sure glad he's not trying to get us to help him get rid of his wife!

Thank for the help - No I am not too tired of DW just WDW and parks.

We are looking to vacation at the end of March is a warm sunny beach setting. That is why FLA seems to be the best option. CA is not the best weather in March, is it???

Dean (anyone) - have you used an exchange for FLA in the World Passport Collection? I know you own another timeshare.

I've been to VB and Marriott's Ocean Pointe. Depending on what you like to do, those are great options. Marriott also has Beachplace Towers in South FL. Captiva and Sanibelf are great as is Marco. You'll have to decide what unit size you want and what's most importan then put in a search. I'd do it quickly as units for that time and those locations may already be being lost. If you want to get back to me directly, I'll be happy trying to make suggestions.

When is Easter next year, the 2 weeks around Easter are VERY difficult to get.
