Tired of being laughed at

Happy Anniversary!!

But be careful!! We did that back in December. We now have a Little Souvenir on the way. Wife is due August 28. I guess thats a little payback for not taking our 6 yr old with us.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I love it! Congratulations!

Congratulations on your anniversary!!

You know you'll have a fabulous time, its what YOU want to do, so forget about what everyone says.

We just got back from our 25th anniversary celebration, and it was a blast!! We did what we wanted with no kids arguing, whining, etc. WE were the kids and had a wonderful time. And when we saw/heard other kids crying etc., we were just glad they weren't ours!! LOL

I had all the comments too, people saying, well, that's not what I'd do for my 25th, etc. but you know what? The heck with them! If I wanted their opinion, I'd ask for it! LOL

We spent part of our honeymoon 25 yrs ago at MK so it seemed only natural to go back for our anniversary.

Have a great time!! :sunny:

Hello all, I figured I come where I knew people would understand. Just a little vent here.

My DH and I will be spending a long weekend at WDW for our 10 yr annviersary  in just 13 days :goodvibes . Any time someone asks us what we are doing for our anniversary or where we are going and we tell them WDW they laugh at us. We get a lot of "you are going without the kids?", "you're going again", etc. If they don't laugh the certainly roll their eyes. . This makes me mad  . My DH and I are counting the days and are very excited, looking forward to doing 'adult' things without the kids. We have a KTTK tour booked, we are staying at AKL savanah view with dinner on the balcony, etc.

Trying not to let them get me down but I've resorted to telling people we are going to Florida and don't mention WDW. Maybe I should make up something really exotic. We're staying at AKL, maybe I'll start telling them we are going on a safari ;)

Thanks for listening, I feel better already :flower: . Have a great day! :sunny:

I am wondering why do you care what they say or think.

They don't know what they are missing. Their lost.

LOL, I just love WDW commercial with the little girl on the elevator talking about their 'little souvenir'. :rotfl: That is something I've thought of though, our darlings are 3, 4, and 8. I've finally gotten them all out of diapers and into school. Let's hope all our souveniers are the kind you can purchase at the gift shops. :bitelip:

Disney World Again!!! - I get that alot too. But I don't care - we are going in December for our first "no-kids" trip to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. I can't wait. We can do what we want, eat where we want, sleep when we want!!!

Have a wonderful time - everyone is right - just go and enjoy yourself and don't worry about anyone else.

My dh took me in 1983, then we went again in 1986 when our ds was 4 (we were able to leave him with grandma in '83). My family couldn't understand why we wanted to go again! Don't you know, they started going and there were several years that some of them went at least four times in one year!

We are headed to WDW again in 8 days :mickeybar to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with ds 22 , dd 2 and dd 2 - dd 16 can't get out of school for this trip  The plan is for ds to stay with the dd's at least one night of our nine day trip! :earboy2:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
